Being a DSCVR artist for Vevo is something i've always wanted to do and receiving the email saying I would be one felt like a milestone that once felt impossible to reach. I've been such a fan of the artists and videos that have come up through Vevo DSCVR, it's just a bit amazing that I'm a part of this now. The two songs I'm singing are off my first EP, Not A Hobby, which was my offering after being dropped by a label and struggling to really find my confidence and my voice. This City is the song that has completely changed my life. I wrote it 2016, released it in 2018 and now it's 2020 and it's my little song that could. I can't believe all that it's done and i'm so grateful to be able to perform it for Vevo DSCVR. It's given me a voice and gathered an unreal community of fans who I wouldn't be here without, so this is for them.
