Sam, I heard you (and your lovely wife Templeton) for the first time this past weekend at the Bluebird Cafe. I have to tell you - I WAS BLOWN AWAY. You have such a warm style that really connects to the listener. You told the story about catching on fire way back in the day (1989 I believe you said). Great story but let me tell you, YOU ARE STILL ON FIRE. As a long time lover of good music and guitarist myself, your songs at the Bluebird had a definite impact on me that I'm certain will not be going away anytime soon. I listened to whatever you have on Spotify (a few times!) and would love to hear more. The world needs to hear more of you. You have a wonderful gift, as does Templeton. Hi Terry! Sorry for the slow response. I'm just seeing this... Thank you so very much! An old publisher of ours (who was also a hit songwriter) used to say "I can live on that for a while" when he got a compliment. I can definitely live on this comment for a while. Being a songwriter is a mostly anonymous occupation so it really means a lot when there's a direct connection! I'm closing in on finishing my new record and I'll certainly be posting videos about it on this channel when it comes out. Thanks again for your kindness! -Sam
