I love Dean for his honesty when helping Sam. As he's sterilizing the tweezers with his lighter, he admits that its going to hurt like hell. To me, it shows how much they've grown in their hunting and relationship for both of them to find comfort in brutal honesty

I love how in movies removing the bullet is directly getting you better ans less in pain ... and in fact it's exactly the worst thing to do in real life !! If there is no real surgeon with a minimum of tools, the best thing to do is to let the bullet where it is, stop the bleeding, desinfect the outside wound and pray for you guts not being perforated. Unless you have a clear visualisation of the bullet and clean stuff to work, trying to find it with dirty pliers will do much more damages. Well, the best is not getting shot, anyways ...

the way that Sam being shot is shown in slow motion is amazing, you see Sam fall and Dean's reaction. This was directed by Nina Lopez Corrado. She is awesome with her mood setting and cuts. She also directed the episode "Everybody Hates Hitler"

For the record, don't do that. If you have a bullet or anything in you don't try to take it out, especially in a dirty room with a dirty knife. You will bleed much more and get a infection. Movie and TV shows always do that and it is a terrible idea.
