Wow!!!! A fantastic rare Sam clip, thank you so much for posting this. This track's title is "Hearts On Fire", one of the singles from his very first album, "Sam Harris", on Motown (released after his 15 week introduction to the country on the talent show Star Search). Currently Sam is recovering from vocal surgery, and will then return to the stage for his new "Openly Grey" tour.

I'm surprised that this guy didn't achieve superstardom. He's handsome, has a pretty decent voice. To me he's kinda like the American version of George Michael. Kinda, I said. He's a lot better than all of the overrated no-talents we got today!!

I consider him a superstar...He is, in my household. I have been a devoted fan for around 40 years. I still am waiting for him to record a series of jazz-standard albums with a piano/jazz trio accompaniment. Hearing Sam perform "I Am Changing " was one of the most jolting moments in my life.
