He actually co-wrote this with like four other people and it was a combination of their experiences. And as much as I like Sam Hunt (he's a great singer song writer) I'd have to respectfully disagree regarding the Keith Urban comparison. Keith's version has a crescendo to it that culminates in a killer guitar solo that Sam's cant even touch.

I don't need to do my research, just cause you can be a song writer doesn't mean you can sing. most of his attempts at singing he's you sin a falsetto whisper... you either do or you dont... and in his case... stick solely to song writing. this dude reminds me of John Michael montgomery, sounds good on cd, but chokes IRL.
