My favorite comic character was the predecessor to the Joker, the Heckler... he wouldnt actually fight comic book heros, but would just show up when other comic villians and heros would fight and just make off colored remarks while they were occupied and then quickly run away. Like "hey nice cape do they make them for men?" and "hey, nice tights do they make them for men?" "who coordinated the colors on your outfit a homosexual?" you know stuff like that.

@nightshadegatito

@Jos How so? The Civil War is foundational in that it destroyed the spirit of Liberty by taking 3/4 of a million lives, for the sake of "keeping the Union." The myth of "we're here to protect you" was firmly established with a hundred thousand bayonets to the throats of Northern and Southern men. Government is here to do good, and they also happen to have huge influence in the media and in community leadership and activist leadership. That has been the case for even longer before than the Civil War. That's me, but I'd like to hear your reasoning for WW2 being a foundational myth.

I’d really like a batman series where it’s accurate to the time period it was first written in. The 1910s would be like Bruce Wayne’s childhood. The 1920s would be Bruce Wayne’s depressed teenage years. The 1930s would be when Bruce Wayne becomes an amateur vigilante but doesn’t have a bat theme yet. Then the 1940s would be the original batman era where he’s just by himself. The 1950s would be the era where bat girl and Robin are with him. The 1960s would be when batman is starting to get old and Robin is growing up. But batman has extremely advanced technology. Then the 1970s are when batman retires.

@@windsorwins46 2+ years not 1 ciggy, relapse is not even possible. I can smell when someone is smoking at a red light 2 cars over with my window rolled up and its physically repulsive. Shocked I went as long as i did before quitting. Also, people are continuing to buy them as they near 10 bucks a pack - thats retarded, paying premium prices to slowly kill yourself

I think he was meming on the losers who give that much of a shit about most comic book super heroes not having an ending. Hence the "yes I've had sex" line at the end. Seemed like the perfect give-away.
