I heard somewhere chris was embarassed and ashamed of doing the movie beverly hills ninja, but when i was a kid that was one of my favorite movies, strange how that works. What he saw as a shameful flop i saw as a strong contender for best movie of its type, i guess if i had to compare it to something it would be in the same vein as johnny english or mr beans holiday, something along those lines. Idk maybe i just have bad taste in comedy movies but the woman character in that hero comedy was one of the first women i saw on screen that really made me go "wow shes the hottest woman ive ever seen". And the movie also had a form of tragedy to it that made me kinda reflect on the way i treated other people. Chis' character in beverly hills ninja was mocked and underestemated and it affected him in a way that gave him this vabrato and he would try to appear confident at all times but as he states to his only father figure, the only person he feels he can confide in in the whole world, hes always second guessing himself and taking things to heart, he always feels like a fool compared to the people he looks up to. Idk what im talking about anymore, i just really appreciate the work chris did in his "worst" film.
