OK. I get it. This guy was their only real threat. Defenses schemed to just stop him. Their qb throws a good ball but doesn't look off coverage and this guys still finding openings, coming down routinely with balls and getting yac. I was firmly against tes, pissed the lions took one and... well f me this guy's a star

And the best of those highlights came from the one season, his freshman year, that he had a competent quarterback throwing to him. The last three years he's drawn double coverage. Sometimes triple because it was that obvious where their qb was going to go with it. Lions had great tight end play before, and will going forward also. Dan

I think we're modelling our offense after the 49ers, especially since we literally tried to trade for Deebo Samuel last year. A truly positionless offense where our RB (Gibbs) can play WR, our slot WR (St. Brown) can play RB, LaPorta can play outside as a WR or inline as a TE, etc.
