My ex-husband and the father of my children died in my home in 2021 (I was sitting with him when he breathed his last breath), and yes, he knew this song. I am still haunted by his death...my younger daughter (23, at the time) and I washed his body upon his death. He was still warm. I don't think I will ever fully recover...
