70+ season Blade here remembering teddy burgin, cec,Joe , Jimmy doc Graham etc from the 1950s this is really uninspiring. Why have we let better players go and why are we being linked with players I've never heard of at clubs I don't really rate. Now I hear sillyman is going to Everton and we have a profit based rather than sale price addon. So we let him walk away for a fraction of his worth get embarrassingly relegated and get nothing for a return to uk. Amateurish and third rate by us. League 1 and 2 beckon unless we show some guys ambition and quality signings (NOT LOANS)

To be honest Hal, I'd never heard of Sam McCallum, so I've genned up by watching some KZbin vids of him. He does seem promising, and with the info and stats you've given out, I'm hoping that this (potential) signing is successful. Non league to PL in 18 months......Wowser! 😲 Under Wilder's tutelage and guidance, he could be a terrific player, IMO and with his talent and hard work, he could turn out to be one of the best signings ( if it materializes) of this season. However, like some of the other fans who've commented, will the proposed takeover hamper United's chances of signing him, and others, if it doesn't happen soon? Penny for Chris Wilder's thoughts at the moment! 🙄🤔. Cheers guys 👍 and UTB ❤️✌️

@SheffUnitedWay True, I'm just annoyed that in our biggest transfer window possibly of all time, we are trying to sign people nobody has heard of, and Leeds rejects. It's very underwhelming.

Not a lot of footage of him ont' Tube and it looks mostly like youth football, I'm putting this one in the "it's a gamble" column which we've seen a lot of under Wilder. This one a little bit less so than many of the others though given he played a good number of fixtures last season for play off Norwich and how much worse could he be than Larouci or Lowe?
