Every word Sam has said to Carly AND that slap were well deserved! I've been saying those things for years! How Carly comes across as a strong female character to some people astounds me. That woman has got to be the most selfish, self-absorbed, whiny, needy, dependent, can't-get-anything-on-my-own-unless-I-get-on-my-back-or-involve-a-man person I have ever seen!! Okay, I am not a Carly hater or a Sam lover but I I loved this scene! I feel that Carly is still all about Carly whereas Sam has changed. They've all done bad things - but people can change and I feel that Sam has. Carly will always be jealous of any woman who Sonny or Jason get with - that's why she always runs to them with all her problems - as someone said she could have checked on Jocelyn before going to Jason. She's jealous that Jason has someone in his life other than her - thats it.

Having haters is not always a good thing. Ya know, sometimes people hate for a reason other than "insecurities" or "jealousy". I give Carly points here and there. However, when it comes to Jason and Sam, she was so damned sick-always sticking her irritating self where it doesn't belong. Now, I would like Liz to get called out again-for robbing Jason and Sam of maybe the only time they would have had with their son together. Love that Monica has always favored Sam over Liz. And I'm SO glad they are not doing funeral scenes and memory clips of Jason because it's bad enough missing Jason. That would kill me!

This was a well-written scene. Sam was so spot on with what she was saying and Carly couldn't fight it because she knew it was the truth. So, what did Carly do? She fought dirty as a last resort to try to shut Sam down. Depending on who the woman was (Liz, Robin, Alexis), that might've worked. But Sam's never been afraid to brawl with Carly so that clearly backfired. Not to mention Carly was at diminished capacity with a broken wrist here, too? Not a good move.
