@@stevo306he’s had 4 years!!!!! That’s plenty of time to teach a bunch of college players how to 1. win winnable games consistently 2. Not give up halfway through a game and season 3. Score one dang td against miss state. We’re not asking for perfection or a 14-0 championship. But damn it the last two years have been crap and it is completely unacceptable.

No matter what anyone says, Sam Pittman saved our program & was willing to do so when no one else was. That means something to me even if it doesn’t mean a thing g to any other fan. Last year was an atrocious season. BOTTOM LINE. We all know that. Bad seasons happen. Even to good coaches - great coaches. Wins are great, but transition is hard. Yes it’s on the HC…but KB destroyed KJ mentally & when you don’t have a QB you go 4-8 (we were in all but a few of those 8 down to the wire). It amazes me how much people don’t know about football - it is SO MENTAL. If the attitude in the locker room is sour, you are not going to get sweet results. So…is that on the HC? Sure. But not all of it if he’s willing to make changes… Sam & Hunter made changes. Big changes. This season is huge & I’m hoping for Sam & Hunter & all of us (hell, even Petrino) that we bounce back in a big way. Our fans deserve it. Sam deserves it. Be competitive, ruin some seasons, make us proud…that’s all we really want & that usually leads to special opportunities. Woo Pig…love my Hogs. 4-8, 8-4, 2-10, 10-2…it doesn’t matter…but it’s a whole helluva lot more fun to WIN. Let’s go SAM! ♥️🐗🏈

Spoken like a typical “fan” but not a die hard fan. I don’t know about you but I’m getting sick and tired of losing winnable games. I’m sick and tired of people being completely ok with how awful we’ve been the last few couple years. You say you even great coaches have bad years?? Name 2 bad years saban had. I’m sick and tired of being 4-8 when we KNOW we are better. The team last year that lost by one possession to Bama lsu and ole miss should NOT have been beat by byu auburn and miss state. But yet, we did. That’s just what we do. We F around and lose games and piss off the fans. What makes you think we’re gonna suddenly be good this year??

Then it only makes sense to compare Sam's first major head coaching gig (first one ever) to Saban's first major head coaching gig (Mich State, I don't count Toledo lol). Wikipedia on Saban's first 3 years there: "Beginning in 1995, Saban moderately improved Michigan State's fortunes, taking the Spartans to bowl games in each of his first three seasons.[54] From 1995 to 1997, Michigan State finished 6-5-1, 6-6, and 7-5." Sam's Wikipedia isn't as direct, but his record was: 3-7, 9-4, and 7-6. Lower lows, higher highs. Some people would arguably take Sam's record in those 3 years. This means Saban's record in his first 3 years was? 19-16 This means Sam's record in his first 3 years was? 19-17 (including the covid year). Looks like we're basically on track to have the next Saban?? Point is, practice your patience.

Being chummy with the media is apparently Sam Pittman's only job responsibility. It's really ridiculous that Pittman continues to be the head coach when any rational person can see that he's completely unqualified. No way he should be in charge of a program trying to compete in the SEC.
