Interesting that Orton himself was well aware that becoming world champion in 2004 was WAY too early in his career and he wasn't ready for it in any shape or form. By 2008, it was a different story. Also, it's hard to believe Orton is only 33 - same age range as more recent guys like Ziggler, Swagger, Sandow, Sheamus, Miz, Ryback, etc. 13 years in WWE have taken it's toll, and he looks 5 years older than he really is.
