Some people may think that these videos aren’t as good as bigger review channels. But they’re informative, to the point, and delivered with passion. Never heard of ATX before, but really excited for US distribution!

Thanks! We will do a lot more detailed review very shortly. Even people in Australia have not heard of ATX and I have been selling it for 10 years now. Most of the fitness content is from the US. The language barrier does make it hard.

Will be up very soon. Plus will try and get Lee down for some training videos on it. After training on it for a couple of weeks it is so well designed. They have combined 2 great machines with a great bench.

Hi Sam. Is there such a thing as a machine that works out the eccentric movement of an exercise? If you don’t have a training partner it will take the weight back up for you?

No not that I am aware of. I am sure someone, somewhere will be working on one. The challenge will always be making it to an appealing price point. That is why the best equipment is on the drawing board! But we are home trainers and do not need fancy and expensive gym equipment to do this. The easiest way to achieve this is two limbs up, one limb down. For example my physio gets me to do one leg lying leg curls. So you lift up with both legs and lower with one. I very rarely do lying leg curls with both legs now. After your question, I think this would work really well on the compact leg press - samsfitness.com.au/equipment/atx-compact-leg-press/

Hih! Does the plate loaded machine also come with an upgraded model?! I noticed the last version still doesn't have that extra pully on top.

We are just doing some videos now on the plate loaded version. They have only made very minor revisions - all matte black paint, upgraded pins and the new MBX-650 bench. I imagine they will keep this model untouched to keep the prices down. These machines are great value for money. We just set the new one up in our gym so I will go back to training on it.

@samsfitnessgymequipmentaust thx for your quick respons. I owned a yellow Megatec Triplex in the past and that also was a great machine. But that new weight stack version looks really fantastic and it's not only the weight stack but also the rails system of the pully give you a different feel compared to the lever arm of the plate loaded one. And ofcourse that extra pully on top is also great for some movements, especially if you are a taller person. Will follow your channel closely.

@@tjittestorm6371 A guy came to look at the WSX-680-SW on Saturday. 3 or 4 reps on the bench press plus the same on the lat pulldown. He bought it. I am not sure if they can make the pulldown any smoother.

@@t1v210 The plate loaded version still has the same weight horns and no weight horns. If you have the money then definitely get the weight stack version. Compared to a $4K TV which will probably only last 5 years and will make you fat watching it, the gym is amazing value. The plate loaded version will do the same job. It is for people who do not want to drop that much on a gym.

You do lateral raises on the plate loaded versions - kzbin.info/www/bejne/omnSp2V9qZ6imZosi=vgtArLnWqo9N6OBV&t=71 - note how a length of cable was used to get in the right start/stop position. This weight stack version has greater ROM. So it will be easier than the plate loaded. But still you have to make sure you are not pulling the cable right out before you start the exercise. We will get Lee down to demonstrate for you.
