You make this look easy, Christine. Beautiful singing and powerful playing as usual. If I'd been there, I'd have had to tell the audience to show some respect !

brilliant renditions. I will work night and day until I can play ' That's my gal' like you do. Keep up the good work. Ami, Israel
I wish there were people like you playing that kinda stuff round here.

You was having some fun there! That was a mighty fine performance and sounded like folks there thought so too!

Thanks for the great playin' If I was there I would have been upfront listening to every lic --- the people who were talking should have just gone home and listened to their Brittney Spears

Excellent! You do a beautiful job on both of these, but I especially like "Sam's Rag" -- a great song that I'd never even heard before. (I'm downloading the original from iTunes even as I type this.)

I love this! I just recently discovered Sam Chatmon, so this is really exciting. Your voice just slices through the cacophony of chatter, like any voice destined for something great. You'd do great down here in Austin. Glad to see you bringing your voice to the masses, in the non-KZbin kind of way :-)

Not the right venue for you yet, but you'll get there and it will be absolutely glorious. Small festivals maybe? Do let us know. You are fantastic.

You would think she wouldn't be so rude and share her awesome playing and singing when assholes in bar are trying to talk......sorry its so hard to "pay yer dues" you are a great performer with talent and I hope future venues give you the respect you deserve.
@MrJimc210 жыл бұрын
I agree Steve but this is exactly what you get from the bar venues. The people there are usually young and have no idea of the richness of these old country blues songs nor do they seem to care to find out. I assume, based on some of the venues she has played, that this is in the North. But if so, it is the same down here in the South. I have rarely played in a bar where a single or double person acoustic blues act didn't receive the same treatment. It's a lowdown dirty shame!

well.. looks like the quality of yer gigs is improving! Even if the noise level is still kinda high! Good for you!! It certainly takes some guts to go out & do this. At least folks are acknowleging your music. What is really great tho, is to see how much you have improved as a Guitar player since those 1st somewhat tentative vids in early '08. Keep up the great work! You are AWEsome.

You did as well as possible in a noisy place. Ever try coffee house or art gallery recitals? Or university folk festivals?

You play all of those old songs better then the original artists! You should check out Woody Guthries version of stack o lee, I think he adds in a bunch of verses.

Very nice. Have you thought of micing your guitar instead of the pick up. And kindly asking the rudeness to shut up while you do your job.
