The song is actually written in an Arabic scale (key of E), a heptatonic double harmonic 7-pitch scale. I find it very hard to believe that something this complex was created unwittingly. Sam is a genius and I can't get enough of his work.

Sam's performances of this songs are consistently great but the addition of the BBC orchestra reminds us what a fantastic piece of music this is, which I fear was overshadowed by the opulence of the video. The score for orchestra and vocals for this performance were incredible.
