Liliac is completely Independent, and managed / produced by their Father, aka "Papa Liliac". They want to be in control of all aspects, and do music the way they want to. Each member has a contribution to each song & performance. Yes, they ARE all that talented. If you want to see the best rock ballad in 30 years, please watch the Sail Away video ASAP! Outstanding reaction of an amazing bunch of very talented kids...lol..I guess they are teens and young adults now. Have been following them for the past year or so and can't get enough of them..They are so professional for their ages...the music video Sail Away, I think is their crown and glory, so amazing. WOW... Lililac.! Love your reaction pal.! These kids are so so good..! I just started getting into them about a month ago and I can't get enough.! I love their whole history... family band.. produced by their dad who is a music producer and their manager as well...the mom and dad came from Romania, Transelvania, and fell in love with American Rock and Roll. Hello from AMERICA checkout Sail Away official video from Liliac off the new album Queen Of Hearts released October 30, 2019. Your reaction was incredible, pause all you want, you were spot on.! Hard to believe the talent in these kids .Sam was 19 when this was filmed and Melody 16. The guitarist you were thinking aboit i bet was Eddie Van Halen . In a few yrs. he will be at that level. Saw them in Florida several months ago and they were incredible. Their parents had a lot to do with their success, very close nit and humble. Their father is their manager, used to live in Santa Monica, Ca now live in Georgia, USA.

Independent Band. Father is the producer. They say songs are a collaboration mainly between three older siblings and Dad. The music seems to mostly come first then the lyrics.

Yes, Ethan played rhythm guitar on TROOPER, while Melody was on bass. Ethan at 12(?) played one part of the solo, followed by Sam and it was awesome!

A very impressive overall performance. Even the two youngest on bass and keys are fully integrated into the band. I don't have to say anything about Melody's extraordinary voice and performance, nor about Sam's qualities on the guitar. The secret band leader for me, however, is Abigail on the drums, who manages the song perfectly "from behind". Liliac has a new fan. Me.

fun fact: each member of the band can also play all of the other instruments. why? in case one person leaves the band then one of the remaining siblings can step in and take over for them...i love how Abigail (the drummer) just has fun and LIVES in the music. shes a joy to watch play....if im not mistaken they opened for Loverboy in this concert and they killed it.

Right now there are only two bands i listen to and they are Liliac and The Warning, also a sibling band but threee sisters from Mexico, who are now conquering the world. Both bands have this high energy and very animated drummers and insane skills when it comes to song writing and arranging music. Both bands have also started out young and made their way by starting with covers and gradually go to original songs. If you want to discover something off the charts you should react to The Warning, their huge fan base will thank you. But back to Liliac, they are really good, the voice of Melody, Sam´s guitar and the drums of Abby are insane. Abby is fun to watch and spectacular to hear exactly like Pau Villareal in The Warning is. I have a real problem picking my favorite band between these two but hey, having two great bands to enjoy isn´t bad. Great reaction to this band!

I got an answer to your question about how they write their songs. The lyrics are a combined work of Melody(lead vocalist) and her dad...after the guitar riffs and melody are done by Sam(lead guitar) then the grooves are done by Abigail(drummer) then the bass(Ethan)...and finally, the keyboard fill is done by the youngest(Justin)...once it's all put together...Dad edits and produces the final work. They are independent and no label to compete with....if you loved this...you have got to continue on the Liliac journey and check out their new material...Nothing...and treat yourself with...Sail Away. and don't forget the covers they do...absolutely Brilliant!!!... Please do more reactions... and just a side note...the song nothing was done during quarantine...and shot in their living room...absolutely incredible...we're waiting to watch you get...BLOWN AWAY!!!!... Sam is very impressive. Many people who watch and hear him play are amazed at his speed and his sound of a Van Halen or a Yngwie Malmsteen. For me, Sam's most impressive abilities on guitar are his arpeggio sweeps. He's very very smooth and accurate as hell. That take practice like 8 hours a day for a long while to be that accurate at those exercises. And that is what they really are. But once he starts the song he turns his skills into a melodic accompaniment. This one's a keeper for sure. I still love Abigail most for her infectious stage presence and head banking drumming abilities. Btw, Hap, it's been a while for these kids for you. I think they gave you a shout out too. @HAP3SPEAKZ I'm an artist; but, also wrote poetry and short stories in my youth. The way this song struck me is like a Rocket launch.. the song is the ride. Busy busy launch prep - guitar solo at the outset, Pause, Song starts while the sustain hangs from the solo, countdown, ignition. Two verses - two stage burn. Lead singer solo - broke atmosphere and now you're in space. Last run: orient, thrusters burn for mars. Layers of meaning. I'm guessing at it; but, Melody is an artist who paints metaphors. This is made to order and it's a well done piece of brilliance IMO. If I can read one more level in.. they did 5 years on the Santa Monica peer busking - launch prep. Cover videos - takeoff, pre-orbit burn. Two albums and two tours later - Orbital. They've plotted a course and are enroute. This song, is them planting a flag. Now they need an anthem. More direct, they are Kiss just before the release of "Rock and Roll all night". But they already have a marketing dept and are putting their names on everything. Buckle up. I see a long interesting ride ahead.

I hear some Paul Gilbert, some Eddie V, and some Hendrix. Samuel is only going to get better. And where he is at right now, should scare some guitarists. Abby on drums and she is crazy good as well. Ethan on bass is getting better, and Justin on keyboards. And then you have 'The Voice' is melody. She is Janis Joplin, Grace Slick and even Dusty Springfield. The only female singer right now that comes to mind with that raspy and gravely voice is Beth Hart. The amount of talent in this family is off the charts. Some one who has contacts in the rock world should send Sam's solos to Joe Bonomassa, Eric Clapton and get there reactions.
