The Stevie Wonder, D'Angelo, Cameo & Prince influences are so strong in his beautifully talented voice and even more so live. I can't praise him enough, I think he's gonna be massive and I pray that he doesn't tone down the funk to try & conform to the pop culture but dominate & influence it instead with his own unique eclectic mix of funk, soul, new jack swing and electro/techno :P

I can't stop listening to this guy and this song so funkie!! he sounds like a cross between Rashaan Paterson, Prince, uk's Omar and on 'Hot Mess' Curtis Mayfield, well some of soul's greatests are his influences!! I really like this dude's voice. Very soulful, I thought that from his last single. There must be something in the water in Australia because they seem to have produced some of the best male soul vocalists (true soul not R&B) of recent years for e.g. Daniel Merriweather, Guy Sebastien.
