@@jdstep97 gosh you people are critical. It was done in the 60s. They didn’t have all the techniques and technology they do now for these kinds of special effects. I think they did a great job with all the choreography and staging in Bewitched.

I'm sorry the episodes are not translated into your language, I hope maybe someday you can get this and many other American series subtitled into your language. For the 2nd episode, Larry Tate was out of town on business. Darrin secretly received 3 wishes from Endora as a birthday gift but he didn’t know about them. So he made the offhand comment “I wish I was Larry Tate” or something like that, because Larry had done something annoying but Darrin couldn’t do anything about it cause Larry is his boss. Larry was always imposing on Darrin and Sam like that, surprise last minute dinner parties or suddenly dropping a bunch of his own work on Darrin so he could go golf or goof off some other way. Frankly, as far bosses go, there were lots of times I found Larry to just be a great selfish bore, especially the later seasons. But anyway, Darrin just looked like Larry, the real Larry was off somewhere else.

@@mirradian Thanks for telling the rest of the story. Giving Darrin 3 wishes and not telling him sounds like something Maurice would do! Not fair not to tell him because he could've squandered them on useless things like "I wish it would quit raining" or "I wish Sam would make French toast for breakfast." If I were given 3 wishes I'd have more important things to wish for. I hated it that usually it was forced on Samantha to host a dinner party for clients at the last minute or even at all. They never say whether or not Darrin gets an expense account for that or did it come out of his own salary? And Sam ought to have been paid for her hard work in cooking. It wasn't anything easy or cheap like spaghetti either. I would tell Darrin if I had to come up with a fancy meal with only a couple hours notice I would zap it up whether he liked it or not! It takes hours for meat to defrost let alone do all the cooking. And of course Larry and Louise had to come as well as the client and his wife so there were always at least 6 people to feed.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE these gowns, especially the blue one. I wish the 21st century could continue with the classiness of that period. This dress is sensual but classy. Things today have a tendency to look trashy.

Uh, this is two separate episodes put together. The first one was about how Samatha used a famous dress designer's gown & he comes to the USA where he discovers it. He is a client so chaos ensues until Sam can resolve it. The second episode Darrin turns into Larry Tate, due to being granted a wish by Endora, only he didn't know about it. They should fix that.

It's a good question, and if this were a real situation, I would say she didn't trust her own vision and went with a "sure thing". After all, she thought her gown Was finished. So any more work she did on it would probably still result in an ugly dress that didn't look done.

Back when women used to dress like ladies. Today they are all in sweats and t-shirts, and gym shorts, heh. I never thought I would miss this loss of culture I remember as a kid, and many other things.
