thanks for the video. I'm never happy with MCU synergy but I'm glad at least it gives these "smaller" characters solo books sometimes

No problem! Totally get that with the MCU synergy, especially when it makes some weirdness where an arc is lengthened or shortened to line up. Yeah, it is nice to get the "smaller" books every once in a while because of them.

the cookout scene was... well, I think the intention is cool, but these types of scenes always look dumb, like the all-female team in Endgame. You're telling me that Sam invited Luke, but not Jessica, his wife and mother of his child? That Cloak is there, but not Dagger, who literally helps him stay alive?

Yeah, execution is the thing that really hammers on those kinds of scenes and you bring up great points there on Luke's wife and Dagger. I had issue that Blade was so close to Miles after everything that happened in Blood Hunt and Cloak was also affected by that as well. I love Blade's character, but what had recently happened I think he would have distanced himself from things like the cookout.
