I'm on board, and your video editing has improved ten fold! I started WoW by joining a server a person I knew was on. We never really played that much. Now it's really been hit or miss through checking sites like TUJ, Raider.Io etc... I've noticed a lot more active Gold Makers though so it's been tough. I did however land on a server that is medium pop and while it has it's AH goblins on bruto's logging in frequently. I've made over 3 mill and found a nice routine that has me still sell things but not feel like I have to constantly cancel scan.

Seriously, thank you for this video. Thank you for all your videos, in fact :D I wanted to expand my goldmaking-journey on another server. My "home"-server is a full population server and it requires a lot of effort - or let's say, camping the AH - to sell anything at a pretty low profit margin. So peeking into new server might be worthwhile, especially after getting the information that the longboi will suffer extinction with the prepatch. The black wing,dethecus, detheroc, haomarush one is a pretty solid server group. It’s also got a decent split between alliance and horde. And since just the other day Blizz announced within next 3 months that the server groups will have some merging again soon, this one has really good middle grounds for a merge. Anything with too much faction dominance has potential to be merged into too high of a pop server which will mess with your auction house wants and needs

Lol i chose a new server a couple of weeks ago, using basically the same method you used, except i wanted a high pop server and i used craftable mounts as a market comparison instead of living steel and such. Great video!

My friend convinced me to play wow in April...Ner'zhul and horde is where his existing characters were. I joined his guild which were all long time players. He doesn't play anymore... So I'm kinda stuck on a server and in a guild that I don't really fit in. I mostly play alone anyway because I like alts and crafting and the AH. But those days I want to dungeon or raid run its hard

Most of my characters are on Fenris. If you aren't selling current expansion (or more accurately current patch) mats you basically aren't going to be selling. It sucks to just say "see ya" to 6 max level characters, but with the pre-patch I figured now is the best time to build up an army on a new server.

Thanks for the video Samadan.... I'm gonna try and follow this series and start a fresh character on my server. My problem is that I take breaks a lot to play other games and when I come back a couple months later I've completely forgot how to use TSM and find myself digging through your old videos on how to set it up again haha. Is there a way to import / export a TSM profile?..... say if I format my PC or build a new rig. Oh and are you transferring a character who's already decked out in professions or is this going to be like a fresh start showing how to get rolling on a new server?, I hope the later haha.

Tsm creates backups automatically in the app, so you can restore from there or make a copy and save it for your new rig. And yes I will be starting from scratch I have nothing in na, no mounts, heirlooms or anything!

Is it possible at some point to get an update for this with the new server merges and the lack of Multi-boxers after the economy settles out a bit? It seems like it will be quite a bit different with all the merges, some servers like Eonar-Velen I think have like 9 total servers attached now? Maybe 7.

you can make good sells in trade chat too so you should play on horde if its a horde server and the other way around

I’m on the illidian server. It’s a full server so profits are really small and I’m getting undercut often. I would switch realms but I have 10 characters on that server... :/

That can be tough, I feel your pain. It can cost quite a lot to move 10 characters. Maybe test out some other realms with new characters and see if you find one that fits your style, no big loss then if you decide otherwise.

Hello Samadan! I'm confused a bit. After watching this video, I tried to pick a new realm with this method, but on EU Alliance side, with realm pop ~2000-5000. The problem is that if raiding and M+ goes well, the prices in AH are low. If AH prices seems okay, PVE activity seems low, like Frostmane with 3 guilds with 12/12 and 6600 15+ keys. Can it be enough or should I go for higher PVE activity?

It can be enough yes. That's when using the undermine journal may give you a better idea. As an example, I've been perfectly happy on Shadowsong even though its pve content is not that high.

Btw oceanic servers are generally higher progressed on alliance rather than horde

There so seem to be a few, I was tempted to try one out.

There is one thing to get in your mind on top of ANYTHING ELSE if you want to make gold. Never pick a low population realm (bellow 4500 players active)

I've not tried one myself but also heard a few success stories from there too. With the way blizzard are merging servers, I doubt there will be many low pop ones left!

In my opinion, you need to find server, were are less multiboxer jerks ( with them there are no use to farm herbs/ores and all others spot farms. And also you need server were arent a tons of goldmakers who abuse all and anything. And don't use bots. So it`s almost all bad, cz any one I mention will jump on all servers and actions. just play any mid- high server

@@SamadanPlaysWoW fo example on my high pop server any herb cost under 1.8g while on avg EU price might be 5 per herb. i just like to farm orbs and herbs, but its like useless :D also we got guys who buy out all from AH and put bigger price, and also undercut if you put something on same price. maybe cross realm and WM off is problem, but who knows.still good video for new players.

If you enjoy farming ore and herbs, low pop realms are definitely better price for your time for sure. High pop might be more suited to raw gold dungeon farms.

leveling now is pretty fast I just started a mech gnome which they start at level 10 but under around 19hours which a little may be my toon just sitting there I'm already at level 45 so just five more levels to 50 which shouldn't take long at all, maybe a few to 4 or 5 hours more. So starting a new toon now would probably the best time which is now the pre patch.
