I'm fairly amateurish when it comes to rituals, since I mostly do my own style due to not being strictly Wiccan, but I just wanted to say *really* well done on the Four Corners ritual. It's one of the first ones I learned when I started learning about group spells and I've never had a chance to try it since I've never had anyone in my vicinity who wanted to attempt it, nor been in the vicinity of known spirits when I wanted to try. That being said, for someone who hasn't done the spell before, that was done spot-on to what I was taught, and I couldn't help feeling somewhat proud of Sam for not only doing it properly and to tradition, but also being so sincere about it. It's easy to be lighthearted, but a lot harder to properly get into the right headspace and he clearly was. Also, just as a little note, the Four Corners ritual, based on the practices and methods incorporated, would more or less be counted as a binding spell, so if you're ever finding that you're having trouble with spirits in future, you should be able to do the same kind of spell to bind them to a space. Binding spells can work especially well with a totem/ token/ trigger object to draw the spirit to the place, kind of like baiting a trap. So proud of you guys. You're doing really well as, essentially Christian Witches (yes, those are a thing, I know several, and sort of am one myself, to a degree). Blessed Be!

As a zoology /animal person major, I can say that what you were hearing was either 1 of 3 things, 1) a feral cat who most likely has been killing mice in there, 2) opossum who is a scavenger and has also been dragging meat scraps in there, or 3) racoon who is also a scavenger and is also bringing meat scares in there to munch on ... Or you know, like a demon or something
