me being someone who communicates with spirits almost daily, that is actually far more accurate than you might think. Also, if you think about it, every time that the Shadow Man has shown up somewhere, they were dealing with something serious. However, someone once reported seeing a spirit with the same description on the Star Of India ship, and it was an evil spirit. So it really is a 50/50 shot.

Maybe, or, the shadow man doesn’t want them to find anything else. I’ll expand on that. Often, spirits don’t want to be known, so they’ll choose one spirit to help distract whatever is bringing them to light. Basically, Shadow Man could be a protector to Corey, or a protector to the darker spirits

This story reminds me of my childhood. I remember one day I woke up, not knowing what I woke up to, but I just felt that I naturally woke up. It's around 1:50 AM. I thought about her and the good times we had, and that's when I looked outside my window, to a clear shadow figure of Emma. A warped figure who looked just like Emma, and to be honest, I was terrified.. But It was my best friend. I was scared of course, but I decided to try waving at her. She waved back, but it seemed almost as if she warped away. That's the end of the story. [By the way, I did not get any more sleep that day.] And to those who've read this message, just know that spirits are real. I've encountered one. Millions of other people have encountered spirits too. It's real. You may not believe it, but just wait till the day you find a spirit too. I’m a skeptic myself and have been watching ghost hunting shows and going to “haunted” locations since I was a child, and since I’m a skeptic I don’t get nearly as freaked out as the people who believe in that. ... but what if the shadow man wants to hurt Corey? Remember when he was saying that his stove would turn on multiple times to where the gas stink up the house? That's super dangerous. Shadow beings are devious. And Corey feeling like he doesn't want to let the shadow man go says something as if it's a kind of symbiotic relationship when it's really parasitic. Nothing good has come out of interacting with the shadow man that's haunting Corey. If Corey is afraid, then that's what is telling him to stop and drop everything and run. Get somewhere safe. Get a cleansing or something. There are things out there in the unknown that can hurt and if the shadow man was unable to spell "God" on the ouija board, then that also says, "HELL NO. LEAVE." I mean, but there's another thought. The Shadow Man could be possessive of Corey and not let any other demons/ghosts/paranormal stuff get attached to him because Corey is already "taken." And the shadow man is wanting to toy with him and knows that he can never leave him. He's also watching out for Corey but at the same time, hurting him. That's just my thoughts on this. Weird theory that may not be true: Maybe the shadow man is watching over Corey because there is something bigger, something worse, that may be attached to Corey and that could want to hurt him. So the shadow man could be a protector that came through to this world alongside an evil spirit when Corey played the Oija board for the first time or something. That evil spirit could want to harm Corey and his family. Cause if you think about, the shadow man hasn’t done much (I don’t think) that seems harmful. It could also be with Corey’s family for the same reason- because something harmful broke through because of Corey and the shadow man wants to protect them. The shadow man could be a powerful spirit that wants to be understood and known by Corey so that he can protect him, cause being understood could benefit the protection. Being a powerful spirit could also explain how they see him so much, and why he’s always around. Idk just a theory🤷🏻‍♀️
