Given the opportunity, and if the price was right, I would buy this beautiful house in such idyllic surroundings. It looks like it’s been empty for a few winters though, without heating, which could have disastrous consequences for the building.

Sam & Jess: This is by far the best abandoned home that you have ever explored on the channel. All the bit and bobs and homemade crafts were great. The furniture was also lovely. You both did a fantastic job. The red stove was in great condition. The plastered pumpkin color ceilings were a treasure. Sketchy flooring upstairs but some priceless antique furniture. Such a great explore. Thank you both so much. You R*O*C*K‼️

Sam and Jess, I really enjoying watching your videos. You show great respect for the people who have lived and loved their lives before walking away. It must have been terribly difficult for the families to just leave. I'm afraid they will find my body in the middle of all my belongings if somebody were to visit my abandoned home. I can't imagine the reasons for just walking away. Wish we had the back stories for all your explorations.

Every time I see these big expensive houses like this with memories and personal effects left rotting and decaying it makes me glad I grew up in a working class family. I would never disrespect my parents or grandparents by leaving everything they owned and loved to just rot away or be stolen and vandalised. Seems to be the norm for the upper classes, no respect. This was an awesome find though guys and another amazing video. Your explores are the best.👌🙏

What extraordinary lost wealth, there must be a hell of a story behind this wonderful property. Loved the sound of the rain, very emotive. I really like your sensitivity when you explore, you show such respect, most moving when you restored the boys bedroom. You two you"ve done it again ! I am in love with this house and for once don't care about back story ( obviously I care about the people!) but I've just revelled in it especially the cobwebs ! Fab ! (Italian campaign folding stool in kitchen) The horn in the entrance way an example of Scrimshaw a bone/horn engraved by sailors and I suspect it probably had pictures as well as writing. By the way in " the olden days" we only used olive oil for earache and medicinal uses not cookery !!!! And you wont be surprised the old girl had one of those beautiful little wooden tricycles . I have a photo of my dinky little self looking all cute sitting on it . I was about 3 yrs old ! 🧓x

Another top class explore there. The usual respect for the people who once lived there. This is an idyllic time warp location. I think I might have seen this location before from another Explorer.I think the back story went that the most recent owner of this property passed away. Someone commented that this location is now under surveillance . It’s a sin that all these lovely finds have been left like this. The old Land Rover camper is awesome. I would have her in a minute, she is such a beauty , which deserves to be restored. I believe that she was to be made roadworthy, but the owner never got around to doing the necessary work, such a shame. That came from a reply I got from a viewer who could remember having holidays in the very same vehicle. Keep up these great videos Sam and Jess, they make for great viewing .

The negatives you found were in fact slides. My uncle only ever had his photos turned into slides and we would have many evening watching slideshows on a projector. When he died we had to dispose off over 3000 slides as nobody wanted them as they were classed as “old fashioned” So sad. Another great video and just as respectful as ever ❤️💙

The big fireplace was cool, my late dad smoked player's cigarettes probably the reason he died so young "54".lovely mini bookcase and book's, the bread oven was special and unique. He must have been elderly as there's handles in the bathroom and wall's for getting about. I'd love to live there, the living room was quirky. Great explore guy's cheers. Xxx S AND J ❤️💙😊

The house would have been pristine as well, if vandals hadn’t ransacked the property 😞 Karma will not be kind to individuals who destroy other people’s property 🙏 Such priceless items in this home👍 Why aren’t the children interested in the personal property??? Before we visited the 2nd floor & saw the deterioration, I was going to tell you & Jess to research, find out the status of the property & if it’s for sale or auction & bid on it! You could move in, clean, clean, clean, sort, sort, sort & either sell, give or throw away what you don’t want, fix it up at your own pace & you would have a lovely, cozy home👍 I’m always looking out for the 2 of you👍 You make such a beautiful, sweet couple ❤️ Thank you Sam & Jess for sharing this wonderful adventure with us!
