I'm friends with my ex. We've dated for 3 years and loved each other (I'm 22 btw and he's 26 so it was a real relationship!). But we've both simultaneously fallen out of love. It felt like living with a roommate bot with a partner since we've been best friends as well for the entire relationship. We're both happy over the breakup and happy to be in touch because he is still like a best friend but nothing more and we've been on a cruise ship together since we've split up because it was already booked. Nothing happened there so I'm sure it works out to be friends with your ex. We also show each other people we find on dating apps haha

The one thing that the UK is better is they have a way better transportation system, the US is very heavily reliant on roads and cars. We need more mass transit (light rail, commuter rail and passenger trains). I don't believe you married too young because of how mature you both are and your personalities are so similar. I have to say I disagree with the question about being friends with your ex. It depends on the situation obviously and the transition can be difficult, but I am literally best friends with my ex and have been for years. We are both very happy with our purely platonic relationship and agree that it works much better for us than being a couple, we just didn't fit. Now I definitely love her, but I am not in love with her and I can't imagine that ever changing again.

So entertaining 😃 me and my boyfriend actually made a couple of breaks just because we were getting to know each other and what out boundaries are, we had to have some time to think about stuff because we were going through many changes individually.. but we never hooked up with anyone else in that time. Not to nitpick but with the friends with an ex question, Monica made a point that people can fall out of love and back in love with someone and no one really knows for sure, which I agree to disagree with tbh. But then says in the very next question that everyone has a soulmate or someone they’re meant to be with. That does not add up at all because if you found your soulmate and know it then why would it matter who they’re friends with? Or in the case of never being friends with an ex because they could get feelings back, wouldn’t that mean their soulmate is the ex and they should be with them? Idk just seems like flawed logic
