Samaneri Jayasāra - Wisdom of the Masters

Күн бұрын

Excerpts from talks taken from Inner Question Page: www.inner-quest.org/Annamalai...
Annamalai Swami (1906-1995) was a direct disciple of Sri Ramana Maharshi who realized the Self after practicing Self-enquiry for decades. This experience gave him first-hand knowledge of how to perform Self-enquiry successfully, making his advice especially valuable to seekers. His teachings are delivered in plain, direct language.

Dear Listeners, this recording has some copyrighted music in the video so YT plays ADS to collect revenue for the record company. Sorry about that. There are many ways to overcome this on your end though. You can pay for a KZbin Premium subscription and have no ads appear on any videos. Or you can simply install an adblocker on your device (search Google for them - many are free). Change your browser to Brave browser - it blocks all ads on all sites. This is the best solution I have found and have installed it on my Android and it works a treat to block ads on all websites. It works on PCs, Androids, and iphone. Here's the link to download and install: brave.com/ The other easy option is to listen to my recordings (and download if you wish) either on my Google Drive or the many Podcast platforms where there are no ads. You can find links to all of these in the top right-hand corner from my Home page on my You Tube channel. Hope you can find some good options. The ads will only appear on those readings where the music is copyrighted and I am trying to avoid this now as much as possible these days. Warm regards

I posit since that there is only the Self (as Ramana says) that everything is Real for nothing is outside the Self. It is just that the Self is different in Life so not to be alone. Hence this very important verse: By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another - John 13:35.

Thanks for the suggestion Tony. I have thought about reading something from Robert Adams but not sure if you are aware of how litigious his family is in terms of a wiff of copyright infringement. I suspect if I do one of his readings his family will complain to YT and they will issue me a copyright infringement which I'd like to avoid, so I think I'll avoid him for now! I do enjoy his teachings however and have many of them.

The definition of Bhagavan about "real" is that real means "temporary" or "a real thing doesn't change." So who watched the Self which you can't detect with sense to decide that the "Self" is real (specifically defined). Yes I heard before it is a paradox.
