Dear Jayasara Samaneri, 🙏🏼 Thank you for all textes you have read so beautifully. They heal my soul. ❤️ 🙏🏼 And your work inspires me. I would like to ask a question to you, if it is possible. I love Advaita Vedanta, Yoga and I feel it is so deep and good for me. I consider that science, philosophy and spirituality are different ways to explore and understand reality. That all spiritual traditions are different attempts to understand reality. And that all are true in some way. I feel that I would love to be a monk. And be in service to God and all of us. But the monastic order I like the most is Zen Buddhist, the order of Thich Nhat Hanh. Could you please, help me understand if being that Advaita Vedanta (and more) is the tradition I like the most I can be a good Zen Buddhist monk? Do you think that it can be compatible and good to all of us? I wish I can understand. And also that we all find happiness. ❤️ 🙏🏼😊

Sure, why not. The Dhamma is the Dhamma. Truth is Truth. I am a Buddhist nun and I love the teachings of Advaita-Vedanta, especially the ancient Upanishads. It is good to keep one's heart open to all authentic spiritual traditions. All the best with your endeavors. 💜

@@Hermit_mouse All that is within the realm of philosophy and science for which exist a lot of different positions and ways of classifying phenomena, I'd recommend to look at those fields for whatever answers you are looking for. What the masters are talking about transcends all that, meaning it isn't excluded as something that cannot be investigated or that doing so isn't compatible with the ultimate truth just that it isn't talked about when talking/pointing to the ultimate truth. If you ask me what my opinion is I have no idea as I am not well versed in both fields especially neuroscience. I do tend to have an intrest in deconstructing the philosophical underpinnings of these sorts of questions by reading about more skeptical posltions within epistemology and philosophy of science, I'd recommend the following subjects; the problem of the criterion, (there is a good video about done by my favorite philosophy channel Kane B) the problem of the many, the new riddle of induction, and the paper: Truth and modeling by Paul Teller if you're interested.
