These descriptions of the Self are delivered with such clarity and pin point accuracy: yet, also with such matter of fact, unadorned simplicity ... I doubt that anyone, who hasn't achieved this state of direct experience, could scarcely believe it.. that it is absolutely 100% true as presented... But it is. How fortunate we are. What a miracle this is. To all who see these words, rejoice! You are home

Thank you dearest Samaneri! I had requested this one from you, it means a lot to me. For some reason it is nearest to my heart. May I ask you which translation you were reading from? I enjoyed it very much. I mentioned Ramana Maharshi’s translation to you, that is a very good one also and shortened. I am so thankful to be in this age where we have the ability to hear from the great masters and we have great hearts like you out there who are helping it shine on the world. Just to contemplate that, it is amazing. Brahman is everywhere. Many blessings to you. If I was there I would give you a big hug. But I will give you a hug from my heart.
@SamaneriJayasara2 жыл бұрын
Hey Rob, thanks for the prompt regarding the translator. It is Swami Chinmayananda and I have now put those details as well as the link to the online written text under the video. Glad to know this text touches your wisdom heart so deeply. Heart hugs to you too, dear Dharma brother. 💚🤗

I wish all the best to you, my dharma sister. I was so honored to hear you call me dharma brother. All of your spoken videos are absolutely brilliant, I love them all. I really love the mountain Hermitage readings too. I like the fact that you used nature sounds in the background, the instrumental music, especially Indian music is perfect. It is one thing to read by yourself but to hear someone read it to you along with the music or nature in the background it really brings it all to life and drives it home. You do great work. Thank you again and I will keep listening. Peace and love.

The very first sentence "... for those who have purified themselves by austerities and ... who are free from cravings..." & so I'm ruled out of the equation. A new low 😂🤣😂
@SamaneriJayasara2 жыл бұрын
Only if you refuse to renounce yourself and your belief in this charade of "I/me/mine/." This is the essential austerity and purity he is referring to here - nothing else. That is the main thing that has to be given up, renounced, and let go of craving for. But with wisdom.

You are not alone. We are right where we are supposed to be. This is the first reading that I could not resonate with and yet I spoke of the Atman recently as a final destination. There is no need for concern at being low which is an illusion of duality. If you perceive yourself as low you must also be looking from high so you are also at a new high. Hold on to nothing dear one. I believe that is the lesson. 🙏🏾
