Become totally empty Quiet the restlessness of the mind Only then will you witness everything unfolding from emptiness See all things flourish and dance in endless variation And once again merge back into perfect emptiness- Their true repose Their true nature Emerging, flourishing, dissolving back again This is the eternal process of return To know this process brings enlightenment To miss this process brings disaster. Be still Stillness reveals the secrets of eternity Eternity embraces the all-possible The all-possible leads to a vision of oneness A vision of oneness brings about universal love Universal love supports the great truth of Nature The great truth of Nature is Tao Whoever knows this truth lives forever The body may perish, deeds may be forgotten But one who has Tao has all eternity A mind free of thought, merged within itself, Beholds the essence of the Tao A mind filled with thought, identified with its own perceptions, beholds the mere forms of this world. The superior person settles their mind as the universe settles the stars in the sky. By connecting the mind with the subtle origin, they calm it. Once calmed it naturally expands, and ultimately their mind becomes as vast and immeasurable as the night sky. Remain quiet. Discover the harmony in your own being. Embrace it. If you can do this, you will gain everything, and the world will become healthy again. If you can’t, you will be lost in the shadows forever. Clarifying their eyes, they do not look; quieting their ears, they do not listen. Closing their mouths, they do not speak; letting their minds be, they do not think. Abandoning intellectualism, they return to utter simplicity; resting their vital spirit, they detach from knowledge. Therefore, they have no likes or dislikes. This is called the great attainment.

Recently undergone very painful surgery. Not being able to distract my mind from focussing on the pain ,I listened to several of your recordings. Wow, it really helped immensely. You really do have a gift with that golden voice of yours, and of course the wonderful wisdom contained within the words that you share. I particularly enjoy anything from Lao Tzu, Kabir and Rumi. True , timeless wisdom . People of the world need to hear this truth, and embrace it, particularly at this dark and dangerous time in history. Great work Samaneri Jayasara. Truth is the consciousness of bliss. ❤

### Tao Te Ching 64. Verse What is still, is easy to hold. What is subtle, is easy to shape. What is fragile, is easy to break. What is small, is easy to scatter. Act before things exist. Organize before confusion begins. A mighty tree grows from a tiny sprout. A tower of nine stories starts from a pile of earth. A journey of a thousand miles begins beneath your feet. To control is to destroy, to grasp is to lose. The wise avoid interference; thus, they do not fail. Begin with care; end with care. Avoid desire, embrace simplicity. Learn to unlearn. Support all beings without domination.

Very nicely rendered. Just wish last line had read, "This is called the great Realization" instead of "The great Attainment", since the idea of attainment implies something other, that must be attained, and then what are the methods and what is the timeframe for this attainment? With "Realization", all is already here and readily available, the moment one realizes it. My favorite description of enlightenment - "Overwhelmingly obvious". For me, in my very brief experiences with cosmic consciousness, the experience was not, "Oh Boy, I have finally attained", but rather, a gasping relief....You mean I have been immersed in this amazing, gigantic reality, all along, throughout all my strivings?? What a wonderful cosmic joke, and relief!
