I don't give a fuck if the world believe that a man can walk on water, he can't because all the available data says it can't happen. Also how can you turn water into wine without fucking up the laws of physics too. Or dead people rising from the dead ? You don't think Frankestien is real so why the fuck would you belive in it just because it happened outside of you time line? Idiot.

Sexual slavery is SUCH a big problem, even all throughout America and Europe and yet it receives so little coverage. If I remember right the figure back in 2012 was like 2.5 million victims circulating through these human trafficking rings; and I suspect that number has only grown too. It is freaking insane we so rarely hear about it!

+06109633 I wouldn't say that it is isolated only to the financial elite; plenty of poorer people are complicit in that they simply allow it to happen. Still though, I would never argue with you in saying that there is a class of people that can do, realistically, whatever the fuck they wan't because money can buy everything, including, human beings and freedom.

Exactly! In recent years, Cuba has been a lot more open to ideas from other parts of the world. Until recently, small private businesses (Like hot dog stands) were not allowed. They now provide citizens with a bit of disposable income. As always, Cuba does possess VERY good healthcare and education, the foundings to any healthy country. All that it's missing, in my opinion, is freedom of speech, access to varied knowledge (soon to come as internet enters cuba) and economic liberties.

explain? why? anyone who is not completely uninformed and hypnotized by the tv screen knows exactly what he is talking about. she is a liar and a warmonger. those who are uninformed and hypnotized are not worth talking to, they have to figure stuff out for themselves before they can participate in any serious discussions.
@nicknametoolong7 жыл бұрын
Abc Def So you couldn't answer. As I thought. Name one war she advocated for. Just one. And don't say Libya because that was a civil war which started during the Arab spring.
@AbcDef-dr7ck7 жыл бұрын
that aint ordinary bruh your statement about libya is precisely why i said you are not worth talking to. if you think that the war in libya was anything else but an act of war by the united states (and its allies, like france and the UK) against the people of libya, you are not worth talking to. if you had any knowledge about what the usa and the cia did in iran in 1953 (go ahead, look it up, the secret documents have all been declassified by the usa), you would not be talking this kind of hollywood bullshit about libya. even if the war in libya was a "civil war" how is bombing libya not an act of war? how about you answer which war she did not advocate? was she against the american invason of iraq? was she against the american bombings of syria and libya? was she against the bombing of yugoslavia? fell free to check for yourself. to be perfectly frank i never did any checking on any of the mentioned wars, but i would be willing to bet that she never opposed any of those wars. all i need to know about this women can be summed up in a few of her own words: "we came, we saw, he died". after that kind of statement you are permanently labeled as a psychopath and a warmonger.

U.S. Created all the conditions of those countries. 1.) *_Afghanistan:_* Military invasion under the ruse of Osama Bin Laden being in some caves, which turned out to be utter B.S., and the primary control of the Opium poppy fields for drug sales to finance government engineered drug induced societal controls of its population. 2.) *_Crimea:_* U.S. Gave military weaponry and financed a coup d'état of the Russian allied Ukrainian government to replace it with a fascist regime, causing the Russian majority Crimea to seek the aid of it's parent nation Russia, thereby causing the retaliatory response from Russia and Russian citizenry of Crimea. 3.) *_Cuba:_* The U.S. Failed to realize the impact of the Cuban embargo until recent years, aside from the Cuban governments own missteps in handling its internal struggles of foreign trade. The U.S. Being subject to the wiles of the Canaanite state of Israel, continue their divisive rhetoric against Cuba because Cuba has been a key speaker in bashing the Canaanite state of Israel's hypocrisy on crimes against humanity in dealing with Palestine. Look things up for yourselves and don't just listen to the biased propaganda peddled by these forms of suggestive media *_PROGRAMMING_*

Ironic how Cuba's limited access is from the US and not from the cuban government. Power says that they need to fix some humanitarian problems there , what is she referring to? Guantanamo, I guess. There are basically no illiterate people in Cuba, social health care with the 'best' MD's in the world, and no overwhelming drug problems. Can we say all this for the US? The answer is NO. The US and the UN are the most human rights violators in recent times. That includes their ways of destabilizing countries, creating civil wars and human rights violations.

Samantha Power has been a long-time real life heroine of mine. In addition to her brilliant work for the Obama Administration and Pulitzer Prize for A Problem from Hell she is an exceptionally graceful and righteous woman. We need more moral beacons of light to counteract the darkness that has encompassed large parts of the West over the past 5 years. I look forward to seeing what Ambassador Power will do at USAID and am enthused for her! I have several friends who are all really interested in foreign policy who are also theater and dramatic obsessed. We have a long-time obsession with Samantha Power's personal life story as akin to a major character in high fantasy. We also like listening to Lana Del Rey's songs about great American Lorde's album PURE HEROINE and comparing her to lyrics in Lorde's songs.

@jedsithor8 жыл бұрын
+BRVvideos That will happen if ANY Republican is elected. I'm not American and I wouldn't dream of telling Americans how to vote. The fact is, the Republican candidates have said they would repeal Obamacare, work on getting the Supreme Court to overturn the same sex marriage ruling, tear up climate change agreements, go back to the old status quo with Cuba etc. The Republicans essentially want to overturn as many Obama administration decisions as they can. If you agree with that, vote Republican. If you don't and want to maintain the direction Obama has taken the US in, vote Democrat.

Guys, listen here, listen carefully. That people speak Russian in Crimea does not mean that Russia has a claim to it.There may be other reasons why Russia might have a claim to it (no, I'm not interesting in debating those) but the language is not a legitimate reason so you can stop harping about it. Using a for me local example: in Skåne they speak as much Danish as Swedish and the region has been pulled back and forth between our countries during history but it's legitimately a Swedish region today and recognised as such by the world at large. Denmark would have no right to occupy it and the population can't vote itself out, if they really want to belong to a different country then they have to emigrate.

Very interesting comments indeed from a number of people below, Samantha Power generally speaking is probably a very nice person the fact that she may be disconnected from reality and therefore be part of the problem and not part of the solution is in the way regretfully and quite likely correct but as entertainment niceness sweetness loveliness and general international diplomacy which has been around in Europe for about 800 years she has to do her level best to keep up that image going , where some of the writers suggest people in her statue as part of the problem and therefore I completely agree to a large extent this is true , this is one of the reasons the world is fucked , I have to agree sadly you have to take these kind of people mostly with a pinch of salt and therefore attempts at being a diplomat like she is attempting to carry it off hopefully without stumbling and the fact indeed that she is flaunting her posture as a kind of a diplomat is somewhat laughable and regretful and may in and of itself make the rest of us look like idiots, but the simple matter is we must humour the situation,we have been completely conned but we go along with it, that's exactly what international diplomacy is about........ To add much of the keep diplomats round the world iare run by gay people mainly males and paedophiles they are picked for the cunning slyness and understanding perfectly how to completely manipulated ordinary little people .......much of the catholic church he's been running this way for years bottom line , think for yourself one and one mathematically still make two....,

I go to Cuba almost every year, it's a lovely place simply due to the fact that no one from the U.S visits there.... and the beaches of course. Viva la Cuba libre!

Everybody needs to pay attention in history class or at least play fucking Civilization or something before they take political action. Such a breath of fresh air watching ambassadors talk about the political situations of different places. People that know things...

I don't get the insistence of the UN to force the Crimean people to rejoin the Ukraine. They had a secession vote and opted out of being part of Ukraine by an overwhelming majority. What gives them the right to intervene in the peoples innate right of self determination. The UN should get out of the way and respect the decision of the Crimean people.

Anybody else come in here thinking, "Samantha Bee explain the world? This gonna be good!" Then upon introduction, "When did Samantha Bee become president of the UN Security Council?!" Then look back at the title, "Samantha POWER-- ooohhh, my bad.."

In this dark time of ignorance and bullshit, it's refreshing to see such a shining light on TV. You Americans should get his lady as your president.
