I hate Starbucks for pulling this crap. I always ask for my drinks to have no whip cream or foam. If they're iced lattes, I only get 1/4 of the ice they usually put in. Ice, whip and foam cost them nothing and add nothing to the drink. I'd rather get more of the drink I'm paying for.
