Thank you for this great video. I am 66 with very bad arthritic knees and osteoporosis. Standing and walking is difficult for long periods of time. I was told I need more weight bearing exercise to strengthen my bones. I really want to get back into belly dancing again! Used to do it years ago. Any suggestions for me? May I join your online class someday? This video was lovely and easy to learn from. Thanks!

Thanks so much for this! Are there any other videos that are beginner friendly? Or do you have a specific playlist for beginners?

Thank you so much for this information. Your such a genuine person. I start my class this Sunday at a local dance studio. Which I am very excited. I do have a question, if a person learns egyptian belly dance but wants to learn tribal fusion, what advice would you give who wants to learn the moves?
@SamanthaKarimTheInnerDancer3 жыл бұрын
Absolutely! I would say study with a teacher who is well-versed and teaches the information you want to learn. Cross training is fabulous and essential. And thanks so much for following my channel! If you’d like, I have a free class for those who are on my channel. Please send me your email and I’ll send that over. Details in the description.

Hi Samantha I love you and all your tutorials. I have a question for you or maybe even a new topic for your tutorials. I am having a really hard time distinguishing between Saidi, Baladi, and Maqsum rhythms when there is singing and other instruments on top of the drums. Are there any websites or listings that would tell me what Rhythm is played during a particular song?
@SamanthaKarimTheInnerDancer3 жыл бұрын
Great question and thank you so much! I don't know of any apps that would identify rhythms in a song but Carmine did an amazing job at building this list of popular songs of which he mentioned the rhythms in them. www.awesomeapps.com/haflasongs. And thanks so much for following my channel! If you’d like, I have a free class for those who are on here. Please send me your email and I’ll send that over. Details in the description.

Just take one step at a time versus doing everything. It's more doable that way. :)

you went into intense detail about pelvic floor and ballet terms but when it came to shimmies and actual moves, you didn't really explain much.
