I know I’m super late to the game on these comments 😅 but just wanted to jump in and say that viseart is really geared towards pro makeup artists, and are well loved in that community. When you’re on a professional set, “boring” packaging is a bonus, and the shadows are incredibly consistent and look great on a lot of different skin tones and types. And the shadows are cheaper than Natasha denonas. 😊

I think you do a great job decluttering your collection. I barely like to part with mine. LoL. I have given some away to friends and family members - I parted with 2 PUR palettes. A few presents were from shopping my makeup stash for holiday gifts. I try to donate unused items to shelters along with other toiletries. Love your insight and infomative reviews. I have Mother's AKA Pat McGrath mothership palettes and they are staying until I die or pan it. LoL. I want the Viseart Libertine palette. I just let it sit in my Sephora cart. You did great! Very satisfying to see collections being pared down. I always try and declutter before a move - I find that when I’m packing things up, I declutter some more, so I always have bags or bins nearby so that I can haul stuff to donation facilities. I jokingly told my kiddos that I was going to declutter them, but after strong protest, I was all like, “ALRIGHT FINE YOU CAN COME WITH SHEESH.” They know I would never leave them behind, but it was fun trying to run and catch them so that I could fold them neatly and put them in the garbage can. 😜

You did a great job decluttering! The numbers might not have been what you hoped, but when you look at the actual palettes themselves it's a lot better! You got rid of a bunch of bulky and oddly shaped, hard to store palettes, while many of the ones you kept were easy to store minis, plus you've cut so much in your other declutters, it makes sense to go easier on your high end palettes! I think you'll find it a lot easier to move them than you expect!

I think the only things you can't really send are used mascaras, used lip products with wands that go into the tube and used liquids that you have to stick your fingers in because t they can't be properly sanitized.

I love your declutters - you're so sweet you almost seem like you are apologizing for keeping things - don't! If you love it, keep it. There are way worse vices to have than love of eyeshadow pallettes. You dont have to apologize for getting rid of things either, once you've reviewed something if it doesnt fill a need in your daily life let it go. You did awesome!

I just did a GIANT declutter and it felt so good. I just looked at everything and if the thought of using it didn’t excite me, I got rid of it. It was great cuz my sisters, cousins, and friends all have tons of new makeup and I actually feel like I have more makeup than before cuz I felt so guilty not using new stuff that I’d make myself use palettes I wasn’t excited to use. Now I only use palettes that excite me and it’s awesome!

I think you did a great job!!! It is really hard! I get really inspired when I see declutters, it’s something I badly need to do and have been avoiding it. One the reasons I need to do it more often is because I don’t have any good storage for my makeup, so it sits in boxes and is hard to find things, so when I go to do a declutter I find stuff I forgot I had and want to keep it because i get excited for it again and then it’s just all downhill from there. I’m still fairly new to makeup, I didn’t start playing around with it until I was in my mid to late 30’s and so declutter videos were just not something I really enjoyed because my collection was something I was so proud of. Overtime I’ve come to really feel like I would enjoy my collection more if it were more manageable and consisted of things I really reach for and love. Sorry for the ramble, but I really enjoyed this, it’s made me feel inspired and I think you really did a good job! I mean, you don’t want to force yourself to get rid of things that you love, that’s not what declutters should be.
