When they were announcing the candidates for New Artist and her voice and song came on I was floored!!! In my 69 years I’ve never heard such a beautiful voice as hers since I was little and remembered Ella Fitzgerald singing. She’s a generational singer.

Since I was a teen, I was in love with Ella Fitzgerald‘s voice call Mondella I had the privilege of attending small private concerts with such great artists like Dianne Reeves and Cassandra Wilson… But when I walked into my sisters home and heard this sound, I was astounded… She is the rebirth of all of the greats Including Sarah Vaughan, Dinah Washington, and so many more different aspects of all of them combined with her own gift provides extraordinary pleasure 🎉
