The strength observed in her voice is so unexpectedly world class -so powerful. She’s telling me that I’ve got the speed and the power...to *cruise the world* . Yet I still can’t find her in the credits. You’d think that with such a surprisingly emphatic music intro like that would be handsomely commended or recognized. But dark and devious Midway probably stuffed a couple hundred down her naive esophagus and told her to *STFU* and never call back. I still can’t find her in the credits or anywhere online. She was indeed *ganked* .

When I was little I went to my grandparents country club every weekend for Sunday brunch. They had a game room in the basement with a few ancient games. I might have played cruis’n world 500 times before we stopped going there. I had the top 5 high scores on the machine and could simply not go there without playing. Never have I seen this game anywhere else so this will always remind me of those times. Nostalgia to the max!

back when the world still made some kind of sense and optimism and hope still existed and were prevelant and fairly widespread this game and song were really popular. :) back when the only concerns were spending time with family and friends and sometimes finding quarters and an arcade and good games like this etcetera. back when i thought i could still believe my parents when they used to tell me work was like school just go there for a few hours do the best you can and come back home and enjoy life after the day is done, and when they said eventually school/work would go away and we could back to living together as a family and having time together like we did before i had to start school. turns out adults lie, governments suck, jobs somehow suck the life out of you unlike school so instead of going home to do things around the house and play and having to stop and wind down to be able to sleep at the end of the day you are instead too tired to even contemplate doing anything and just want to come home and rest 6 hours into an 8 hour shift and job doesnt even pay enough to have close to the lifestyle you grew up with or you or your parents wanted you to have or even in most cases enough to properly support yourself without outside/family help... turns out dreams are just that dreams...and no matter how smart people say you are it doesnt help or make a difference, working hard doesnt help, good grades don't help, having 2 college degrees on top of a high school diploma on top of a state career readiness certificate doesn't even help, being debt free doesnt even help much just some, staying with family to reduce number of bills only helps somewhat, it's just so frustrating... i've been told i nearly totally lack ambition, but i've never cared, ambition and money aren't important to me, as long as i have enough i feel fine, never felt the drive for more and more and more i've seen so many people get trapped/fall into, but it would have been nice to have a place to call home a family someday friends nearby or at least be able to stay near my parents and still be able to have done things with them while they were able to still get around well enough. instead someone like me who doesn't give a bleep about money has been stuck my entire life stressing and worrying about money and if there will be enough when its needed or not all my dreams flew out the window back in 2010 or so.. being able to actually live and be happy and have a stable supportive life is apparently mostly out of the cards for me.. my parents income to support the entire household was never more then 2000/month usually closer to 1000/month for my two parents and myself and until 1999 my sister b4 she passed away...we never truly lacked for anything we always had enough..sometimes in my opinion too much..i'd rather have one meaningful present at christmas then a small stack of clothes and other gifts/presents covering part of the couch..but we always had enough no matter how bad things were...a nice comfortable place to live, heat and air, always plenty of food even if sometimes we were down to canned soup/vegetable stock piles occasionally for brief periods.. i was loved and more then happy...everyone always would ask how i could be so happy they never understood why i was almost always happy and smiling even when things were going wrong from some perspectives... i had everything i possibly could have wanted/needed..only thing i ever somewhat lacked in was friendship but i was actually friends with my parents so it was okay. now i make about 1400/month after taxes just my own income from work and it never seems to go far enough/be enough...i can barely afford the rent to stay with one of my sisters much less ever be able to even consider having a place of my own. i work 40 hours a week and often have to sleep so much on my 2 days off that i basically have half a day to a day off b4 i'm back at work again i'm somehow so tired sometimes for seemingly no reason. i havent been able to afford to go back home to pennsylvania since once in 2008 my first year i was here in north carolina, only time since i was able to go back my sister took me back to see my mom just b4 she died in 2017 for a few days while she was stuck in a hospital in pittsburgh...i promised my mom i'd help dad get through everything and help take care of him the best i could but i still can't even properly take care of myself yet so no idea how to keep my promise when i can't even afford to go back to visit still really and last time i got to see my dad was in 2018 when he came here for one last visit. my sister doesnt want to ever see dad again and doesn't like him coming here to see me and tries to limit my contact with dad as much as possible and always has since i moved here after she talked dad into sending me here at the last minute a month b4 i graduated college back home in pa. at least songs like this remind me that once there was a time where at least dreams might have been possible and i might have still had a good life.
