Smite brings out the worst in people. Everyone has their moments of toxicity. I even catch myself being more annoying than usual after a few games. The fact that Sam manages to stay so positive like 90 percent of the time despite Smite being his full time job is incredible.

15:29 on a real note, Sam. I’ve watched a lot of duel. There’s nobody who’s playing you 10 times and winning 7+. If you locked in and try harded 2 weeks straight and really sharpened the iron, I think you’re the best duel player ever. “Ego” comes in many different terminologies and definitions, but I feel like in order the progress and get better at a competitive video game, as your confidence increases, you’ll also develop an ego that’ll form towards your competitive gameplay. Whether that be good or bad behavior. It happens everywhere these days on the internet unfortunately, which is why I agree with weak3n when he says there should be an internet licenses. People also confuse arrogance and eagerness, if you’re eager to learn something and get better, that doesn’t mean you’re arrogant. At the point in which you start becoming arrogant is when pieces of your personalities cloud your vision, such as a big head or being hard headed or having a “bad” ego. Personally I believe these are the differences.

A very important point to mention is that the definition of ego is different to each individual. Some just mean big head overconfidence "I'm better than I" and some might say it means you have preferences, or a personality. That's more spiritual stuff, but it's important to note the distinction between possible definitions. Sam likes playing smite, at a spiritual standpoint that is true and that means ego exists. It's not good or bad it just is. Also theres a difference between having an ego and javing a BIG ego.
