It’s all about clearing wave, timing ur backs well, and making a good build to counter who you’re going against, but also keep in mind that u could do all 3 of those things perfectly and still lose depending who you’re going against

Duel is less about skill than it is about match ups. The second you load into a game, the majority of the time you are either already at an advantage or disadvantage. Obviously, some match ups are fairly even. What separates the duel greats (like Sam) from the rest of us plebs is they can win losing match ups.

I think Sam has said it before in a video, but duel is just completely different from normal Smite. You can watch Sam's videos for as long as a lot of his subscribers here, and still it'll feel completely different when you're actually in the game

0:50 unfortunately I think hirez is kinda letting smite fade away so more ppl switch to smite 2 for a “better smoother experience” there not fixing bugs there not banning ppl, kinda like what activision does with old call of duty’s, you can’t get into a single lobby in modern warfare 2019 without running into hackers or some kind of bug, and they don’t do anything about it to drive more traffic to the newer call of duty’s, this is a proven thing that happens and I fear that’s what’s happening/going to happen to smite1, just in the last couple weeks I’ve been lagged out of more games and encountered more hackers than I have in the 8 years I’ve been playing smite. It’s going to shit and they’re just letting it go to shit so more ppl play smite2

I've been playing this game a long time. Being in the Masters rank I didn't see any evidence of cheating. I however did not watch the Loki game but your movements are kind of predictable. once you play this game for so long Masters movement skills are predictable. You kind of know where people are coming from where they're going to go and how they're going to react especially if you played them before. It was a really good game to watch.
