Any way to make this patch available on the podgo?
@noahhailey52 жыл бұрын
On the ending solo, did you just use different parts of scales in that key? So just Db pentatonic scale in different positions? I’m a beginner electric guitarist and trying to find different solo’s and riffs in that songs Pentatonic scale
@bmitchellmusic2 жыл бұрын
Started using a D shape (Db triad, really) and then dropped down to the Bb minor pentatonic.

hello, what key is this in?

Amazing sound and playing! Just one question. I am curious to know what Brandon is playing at 3:22. Is this a specific technique he uses in his right hand or is that just the Helix? If that is just the Helix, how can I achieve that kind of sound? Thank you!
@worshiptutorials2 жыл бұрын
Thanks! That’s a setting on the Helix (although you can recreate it with many reverb pedals). It’s reverb set to 100% wet, so you don’t hear any of the dry signal.
@LemonMeIon2 жыл бұрын
Not always necessary if you have a pad droning in the background either from a backing track or keys player. Sometimes it’s good to just not play for dynamics. I do recommend using an expression knob to control mix, time, and output level of your reverb pedal (set min 10% dry and max 100% wet). Then you can rotate it with your foot depending on how much reverb you want.

I needed this RIGHT NOW, so excellent and many thanks! And a very cool and interesting guitar. So many interesting builders these days!

What exact Helix is this one?

We use the Helix floor model in our demos. But the Helix patches are also compatible with Helix LT and Native.

Hey! I've been serving on my student praise team at my church for about 6 years. I have been considering either upgrading my guitar or buying a new pedal board. I have been using budget equipment the whole time because I don't have the money to get anything on the top line. Right now I am using a Squier Strat and a Boss GT-1. I am looking for recommendations on either to buy a new guitar or invest in a pedal board. The only problem is that I am left handed so most guitars are more expensive. Thanks!
@ltmarshmellow53512 жыл бұрын
Personally I’d get the pedals first to get your feet on the ground with your new tone, I’d focus on Reverb on Delay being at the top of your budget, and you can find many overdrives between $50-100
@insearchoftone96022 жыл бұрын
A quality set of pickups swapped into that strat and some money into pedals in my opinion. You can make a cheap guitar play and sound like a dream with a little time and effort. Once you have that setting your sights on a rig that is going to sound how you want it to is key.
@kylenewberry25982 жыл бұрын
Pickups matter far more. If you like the way your squire plays then upgraded pots and pickups will be just as good as a new guitar. I highly recommend grosh fat 60 pickups. Or lambertone singles. Also you can get a cheaper version of the helix in the line 6 go.
@countryboyswag16892 жыл бұрын
Pedal board makes everything better doesn’t matter what the guitar sounds like if you k ow how to use your equipment but as along as your doing it to praise the one and only God that is all what matters but my opinion is pedal board
@insearchoftone96022 жыл бұрын
@@countryboyswag1689 I agree but also disagree. A good amp and good pedals will make a cheap guitar sound better, but at some point those cheap pickups will drive ya crazy. Every cheap guitar I have ever bought has been made 1000% better by upgrading the pickups and tuning machines..... sometimes the nut too.
