I have to say, before the explanation on how zombie health works in Jchen's video, I always though zombies without their heads taking shots was unintended behavior, can't help but wonder why they did it this way from a game design perspective.

One guess is they just thought it would be a nice touch to their death animation. Or hacked it together because of some inscrutable combination of design principles and technical requirements.

Now that I think about it, it could be partly due to readability/consistency. Maybe they wanted the zombie to go on for a few seconds without a head, but making it phase through projectiles would just seem weird and kinda mess with the player, so making it still block projectiles and take damage just makes it a more believable object in the game world and makes it make more sense at a glance.

i think banning plants like tangle kelp and blover kind of goes completely against the entire point of plants like tangle kelp and blover. they kind of are there TO be cheese plants to very quickly and reactionarily delete certain zombies, and even with x12 health i think they are still very balanced. i think Chomper is ok to ban, though, because Chomper was clearly not designed with the ability to just totally delete a Giga Gargantuar for basically free in mind. in the base game, the only Zombies chomper can't instakill will ALWAYS kill Chomper before Chomper could ever reasonably kill them, so banning Chomper makes sense.

Edit: you finally acknowledged tangle kelp in these mods lol (Unless it happened earlier). Edit 2: Looks like you fixed balloon zombies, awesome going. Edit 3: I think TASing some levels for good rng is perfectly fine. This challenge is frankly insane so I think it's fair. I mean by a technicality these odds are possible, just it'll take far too long to actually do. Heck, I couldn't even beat Ace of Vase in the Giga Mod without revealing all of the vases. Edit 4: I've never actually heard the proper explanation for why deleting the lawnmowers in Zomboss prevents zombies from spawning in those lanes before, but that makes sense. Edit 5: Zomboss in the giga mod does not have 2x HP. He has 32767 HP due to me not realizing you can use the int32 value for his health if it's too high.

If you're wondering exactly how much HP a Basic zombie has here, 270 * 12 2700 + 540 3,240 If we ignore the last third of the HP where the zombie is just a meatshield, the zombie has 2,160 HP, as opposed to the 180 it normally has Note: The head only pops off when the zombie's HP is *below* 1/3, hence why they take 10 peas normally and 109 peas here, rather than 9 or 108 Edit: How do you italicize text in a KZbin comment?

Try a limited plan death. If the plan died more than a limiter (lets say, 5-20 total plant death) you are consider lost. Also, insta kill plant (other than Chopper) Will count as plant who died. Remove plant Will Also count as a dead plant.
