Time Warp is a huge game changer, double the time to recharge plants. Jalapeño, Laser Bean, Citron are all lane clears but I doubt they have much use, the pults are far more effective.

There is another KZbinr who also did an incredibly similar challenge for the first game but with some major changes, RCCH recently made a video where every wave of every level from the first game would have the same density as the final wave of the level, but he still had lawnmowers and could survive one wave or two at the start off of them to build up a defence. It's also a really interesting challenge imo.

Former pvz2 WR holder here, spring bean is unironically one of the best plants in the game. Only downside is its only viable in Pirate Seas. If used correctly, its basically what thyme warp is for the modern pvz2 community. I personally like it better than thyme warp tho bc its usable in speedruns XD
