Un lieu incroyable merci de cette découverte. Même commentaire sinon pour le "doré à la feuille" et non pas Peint à la feuille, et concernant la glacière, elle ne permettait pas de stocker des aliments, mais seulement des blocs de glaces que l'on prenait dans la rivière gelée en hiver et que l'on venait prélever de temps en temps le reste de l'année pour les placer dans les garde manger et ainsi aider à conserver les aliments plus longtemps.

Le salon des zodiaques dont les boiseries et peintures ne sont hélas plus que des copies (vendues au XIXe et réinstallées dans l'hôtel de Berny à Amiens) ont sans aucun doute été inspirées par celles du salon ovale créé par le génial architecte Boffrand pour la princesse de Soubise à l'hôtel du même nom (occupé depuis la révolution par les Archives Nationales). L'ensemble de la propriété est somptueux , bâtiments, parc serres... Un seul vœu : que le futur acquéreur préserve ce lieu d'exception! ❤

our UK statley homes suck compared to the french chateau, this is without doubt the most balanced and beautiful chateau ive seen to date, playing the pauses in music , or blank areas on the walls ofsetting the busy gold ornate frames and funiture. the French do it best , hands down .
