You mentioned that there was a lot of unresolved pain associated with your grandfather’s life, that immediately made me think of purgatory. I don’t know if he ended up there or what, but with today being All Saints Day, and tomorrow, All Souls Day, which is *very* important for the souls in purgatory I’ll be taking it as a sign to pray for him.
