There's an actual creator all wise and all-knowing who created us for a purpose. And that this life is a test. It's temporary like a short stay during a journey. Our purpose on Earth, is to worship our creator by being good to his creation, humans, animals and plants because he deserves it. He has also sent many prophets preaching the same message that God is One and this life is a test, etc. We don't believe this is all fiction or fables. We believe the almighty God is a reality. It's impossible for the Universe to exist without such a creator. Now given these facts, putting nation or race or culture or anything else first before God is illogical. All of these things are temporary and only a test for us to see how virtuous we can be, nothing more. God is above everything and permanent. Saudi Arabia or Pakistan didn't even exist 2 centuries ago. On top of that nationalism has led to many catastrophes because of its nature of putting the nation first. WW2 was all because of German nationalism for example.
