he feels worse to play. The knife count reduction but the increase in knife hit requirements for Main Event means achieving main event is less frequent which means the duration buff to main event is useless since you're working harder to even get it and Main Event's main weakness is still there, you need to basicly get lucky and proc Main Event at the right circumstances or it's a useless portion of his power. Trickster is supposed to be a spam killer not a precision killer. Reducing the number of knifes was dumb. You'll only hit people when there's no LOS blocking and that doesn't happen frequently unless survivors have poor pathing. All the maps are cluttered with terrible visibility, Coldwind Farm maps, or a shit ton of objects that survivors can use to negate Tricksters range. His power is only useful in a handful of loops. Now factor in he is slower than the standard Killer and he is terrible in most loops. You'll need extreme precision to hit survivors in those hard loops and guess what he has no precision and feels worse to use so you're not getting those precision hits regularly.

Damn, it's been 11 years since I've played RE for the first time in my life (I've started this journey with original RE2) and I still love Leon the most. I know it's maybe cuz I've spend half of my life on re2 and I know layout of RPD by heart but also you can trust me when I say this map isn't huge ;)

Since I haven't played RE2 (I know, my loss! But I'm trying to play RE1 first), the map isn't so much big as way too complex. But I'm looking forward to getting used to it over time and not getting as lost.
