I love the Pistachio cover. It was in my backup US retailer order. I finally got my Hobo order in and landed with the beautiful Yumi Kitagishi Weeks. My Hobo order arrived today sept 16th and I have never recorded an unboxing so fast 😂 I love all my Hobo things. And it is so cool you got 3 different freebie books. I’ve seen several unboxing videos with 3 and 4 freebies of the same cover. Enjoy!

I bought the Toy Snakes Mega Weeks and love it. The little guy with the top hat makes me smile. This year I used the Weeks with the embroidery cat and she is so adorable. Just today someone commented on how cute she was. I LOVE the pistachio and would have chosen that if I went with a solid color.

I think you should go with the pistachio weeks. The one with the purple landscape is my personal favorite (purple is my favorite color) but I do think your being influenced by what’s popular haha I just grabbed the herringbone ivory cover. I’d love to be a proper Hobonichi fan but dated planners don’t work for me lol

I know I mentioned it was popular, but that would never sway me to choose it. I was actually mentioning it because I know it would be the easiest to sell, so that would make me want to not choose it. 😅 I really love the placement of the dates and it’s really cool to look at, but I don’t think I want to see it all year. Maybe one day a dated planner will be your jam, for now I’m glad you are choosing what will work!!

I love seeing the spreads on other people's weeks for inspiration. the pistachio was definitely on my mind for some time too. all your stuff seems like really fun lineup. dont forget you can always make a custom decoration on a cover or stick a print/postcard on it to switch it up throughout the year so hopefully you can decide your planner soon~

I picked up the snake weeks for work this year. The top hat and the pipe had me giggling so that’s what determined my decision. But my second option would have been the Mother Weeks that you picked up as well. I feel like the snake fabric looks best on the A6 HON, though. I feel like the freebie this year has been the best. I love the fact that they are giving us functional notebooks instead of gimmicky stuff.

The Toy Snakes is so cute!! I had to go with the Mega Sushi Weeks, I'm so excited we finally got options that weren't just solid colors for the Mega. These are all lovely though, you've got a hard choice to make. Also side note: not sure if you adjusted something with your camera settings or if it's on my end, but your videos have been way too bright for my eyes lately, and this one is perfect again. Big thank you for that, I enjoy your videos and being along for the ride!

Yeah I literally could NOT go past that purple landscape one. I had to hunt for it in English though, finally found the last one on an Aussie website. Yay! I'm going to use the Cherry mega as my usual diary (so happy that the fabric Weeks are available in mega now!) and find a use for the purple landscape LOLOL

If I'm getting a Hobonichi, it would be the Sushi (from the Bow & Tie line) one. But I'm definitely getting some accessories in the near future. For you, I think the Pistachio will suit you the best. It's your first choice and if it feels the best foe you, then pick that one.

I really, really enjoyed your unboxing, Sam. I'd go for the grey Weeks with the printed cover on cover. The contrast with the white print would be perfect. I've not bought anything as yet. I've bought the Weeks many times in the past because I love look of them with all the pretty covers, but I'm not consistent in the planner because I don't get on wuth Tomoe River paper (I really wish I did). My planner of choice for 2025 is the Moleskine weekly with notes. I'm hoping its going to be my go-to for the whole year.

I loved the botanicals also and was disappointed that I couldn't get another botanical HON. But I got the Kubota A5 HON and it's just lovely. I got so lucky with my hobonichi order - I somehow managed to get mine ordered without any issue because I forgot until the next day.

Excellent haul! I like how you order everything so you can choose later. My favorite items are the three pencil boards! I want those also. I want the A6 and A5 covers in that art as well. However, I think they are all sold out. I am considering getting the A6 techo, and possibly the Cousin. I will be curious to see what you end up choosing. I think you should keep the pistachio, and one other of the Weeks. That way you have your favorite (pistachio), and one other favorite that is a bit more unique to work with throughout the year. You paid the cheapest price getting them straight from Japan, so just recoup some of your money on the other items you aren't keeping. lol I just think since the Weeks has been your main squeeze this year, you might be happy to have kept your two top choices to play with. I say that, but here I am in my own "office" space paralyzed because I have so many things in here. I can't think straight because its to crowded. haha. Sam, can you come over and help me declutter and organized, PLEASE?

I've been trying to not watch Hobo hauls because I didn't use any of the ones I ordered lasr year. I also didn't use the one I thought I would - Sterling Ink Passport. But, we'll, I tried. 😅 I'm still deciding on what to get, but I am super intrigued by your idea of purchasing and selling what I don't use. But, I don't know where I would sell it. I have so much stationery I want to sell. My situation has changed and I have no space to actually even place my stuff, let alone use it. Any ideas of where I can sell my stuff? Much appreciated. The landscape Weeks gave me life! It reminds me so much of Princess Mononoke (I don't know anything about the release, so it might be Ghibli collab). But, you can't use the pretty clear covers with that one. And, likewise, I might get sick of it. Or might love it. But, you keep on gravitating to the Pistachio, so I hope you picked that one. Guess I gotta watch a recent video now. 😂

I am not planning to have a weeks for 2025 but I would probably go for the grey. I love grey. "Millennial grey" lol I think there are lots of good choices this year compared to 2023 for instance, when I basically elected to go for the purple/lilac one because it was the one I hated the least...

I'm still waiting for my order, but it's being held in Memphis - never had that happen before and FedEx sent me a form which asks for my social security number.... I'm hesitant, but want my order! Did you go through that too? When I called they said it is because one item is listed from China, even though the package is from Japan - so it's the China item that is causing a problem...

I got the turquoise with the red cherries 🍒. ( Weeks) it is so cute and I also got the cherries correction tape thingy which is also adorable! Jetpens has these and I’m going to HAVE to get the cats especially since I saw the Calico on yours. I have a big fat calico cat named Rosie. She’s 10 and still very active. I also got the closure elastic in maybe navy/ yellow. I got the stick on card pockets and a few other little things. So glad you finally got yours! And yes, I love the boxes. This years was a small blue box that’s made just like the big yellow box. And I couldn’t get the sticker off either 😂 Enjoy your haul and I’ll be excited to see which one you pick. P.S. I almost got the 🐍 snakes too! 🎉
