Super refreshing to see someone sticking to something that works. I get irritated when a youtuber uploads a new video every week and they're in a different planner, it makes it difficult to connect when the system constantly changes.

The weeks will also be my one book for 2025! I've used it all this year and I've never used a planner so consistently (and I've used a lot of planners lol). I realize it actually has so much space despite being so compact. I don't actually know if I will even use all the space if I write small and am efficient. Great video!

Sticker anxiety! Yes I have that! Honey I will hold on to a sticker forever until I feel like I’m in the perfect planner. Before you know it 3 yrs have passed and I still have the sticker😩 2025 will be different! My weeks will be my all and I’m using the stickers!

I've been doing one planner (an undated A5 book bound weekly from Nomatic) for most of this year, and I have to say that it's been a very liberating experience. The Nomatic has a decent amount of blank pages in the back that I was able to customize with workout log sheets, a reading tracker, project planning, travel itineraries and plans, PT exercise sheets from my doctor, and more. The only changes I plan to make for 2025 when I start a new Nomatic from my stash are to add a commonplace book for keeping a long-term record of knowledge that I want to keep around for more than one calendar year, and to move workout tracking sheets back into the blank graph 6"x8" spiral notebook I have kept as my gym log book over multiple years, because I like to see the programs I have completed and how my performance has changed over time. I'm mostly a functional planner (tried the sticker and pretty spreads in a bujo and with a ring system... Couldn't keep it up and felt like I was spending more time decorating my planner than actually getting things done), so a weekly planner is plenty for me.

I mostly tend to only have 1-3 planners at a time (with success), and I only have 2 planners set for next year. It's nice to see people motivated to do what actually works for them instead for chasing the shiny things.

I am a two planner gal. It has to be weekly with one for the handbag and one for the household. This year I chose Tan's Agnus Dei planner and Sophia Institute's Fiat planner.

For the past couple of years I have used a Weeks Mega for everything, and a separate appointments diary/notebook in my bag. Decided to change up for 2024, have regretted it all year, will be back to mega for 2025. Appointments / notes on the weekly left hand side, weekly to do list/ tracker on the right hand side, memory keeping/ journal in the notes pages at back. So simple. Why I decided to change this year, I have no idea. Thanks for the video, I always enjoy them :-)

My current planner system is what I've used for over a year. Hobonichi in my purse, updated everyday with appointments, to do/to buy, weather etc. My day-free is my journal, and I'm on book #6. I've recently had a pretty bad health scare and all my health info is in a midori a5. All my planners have a scripture area. May sound complicated, but after a year, it's second nature. I'm looking forward to seeing your hobinichi planning this year. I'm not sure how long you've been on KZbin, but I've been here for years!

I’m excited for you. I have a mega weeks this year that I had cut down and I have used it for on the go all year. My cousin stays at home,but love her too. She’s my journal, memory keeper. Hon I used for my bible journal, and she is amazing!!! My hon is chuck full beautiful. Love her as my bible journal. Word before the world every morning 💗 I have 3 on order from Hobonichi for 2025. Mega. Cousin, and hon. Will be using them all for the exact same thing I did in 24. I can’t wait to watch your 2025 and how it goes for you. 🥰

Hi Sam! I was in Germany for two weeks, so it is refreshing to hear your voice, and see this video from you! I think you are right on track for yourself with your planner plan for 2025. One piece of advice that came to mind (knowing you, lol), is, don't sell your ring planners, or your other leather covers. Just hold on to them, and let them sit. Put them in their protective covers, maybe get a rubbermaid of some sort to store them in, and call it good. That way you always have to option to just have "fun", if you want to call it that, when you want to, without it costing anymore money. You never know when you may want to add a project, and break out a ring planner, or you may go through a time where you do want a leather cover for your Weeks. Just saying. Just trying to help your future self. haha. 💗 I don't think your planner choices are boring. They are just right for you. I enjoy your thoughts and everything you explain to us that went into your decisions. It is nice to see you excited!

@@angiepayne6104 I second keeping a few of the unused ring planner `supplies around. I tried a standard Happy Planner ring system for about a year and a half for staying on top of my two boys' distance learning assignments during the 2020-2021 pandemic years and liked it a lot *for that purpose* since I didn't ever leave the house or have to lug that 2 lb brick of thick sticker encrusted paper around. ;) When I tried it for my own planning, I had to downsize to the HP Mini for portability, and that size was just too small while also being too bulky. I went back to A5 book bound planners after that discovery, but I kept all of the ring system stuff I had amassed, including spare rings, covers, blanks filler pages, and paper punch, and now I use them to bind together (non-planner) printed materials like recipes, cross stitch and crochet patterns, and family medical records that I would normally have to put into bulky binders. I even have a ring notebook that I use for lazy, unaesthetic scrapbooking (E. g. I just tape convention badges, event tickets, etc. on a page and write the date and a short comment about the event.)

This was extremely refreshing and enjoyable to listen to (I'm working 😂). I have several books lined up for next year, and I was hemming and hawing between one book to rule them all or one stack to rule them all. I've never really tried compartmentalizing different aspects of my life, so that's why I went with the stack for 2025, but I look forward to seeing how your challenge works out, and may end up joining you at some point along the way!

The pistachio color looks amazing. Really like it. It ordered the one with the Night Cherry Blossom Snow Globe and the Bow & Tie: Cherry. But I stil can't decide which one to use. They are both really cute. But like it's just october now I have plenty of time to decide.

I take the special stickers out and put them into my new book- even if I have to cut around them. I am doing Weeks Mega this next year also. I pulled out the Oct-Dec pages from my current weeks and taped them into place so I can use my new book now! Have been having fun filling out some lists and swatches. So ready for 2025!

I cannot afford hobonichi this year. 😕 If you do fall back into rings for a bit then 🤷‍♀️ you'll be back in weeks before long. At least that's what I've seen after watching you for years now. Did you happen to look for those funny saying stickers this year? I finally ran out. The clear backed with the black lettering? If you happen to know the brand please let me know? This video made me so calm 😂 love that you’re feeling so at peace with your one book! I love seeing flip throughs of your weeks! So satisfying. Finally received my first Sterling Ink planner today. Bought the N1 H thinking it would fit in my very expensive weeks covers - realized the day after ordering that I was wrongggg 😅 BUT I do really love it, love how floppy it is and the white, colorless pages. So. Going to use it for work. And ordered an A5 just like it today to use in place of my Cousin ❤️‍🩹 as a journal/memory keeper. bittersweet, but excited to not be stressed out by structured daily pages and to give a sort of BuJo another chance. Anddddd ordered a weeks mega from Amazon tonight 😂 to use as my every day carry & possibly book journal. We shall see how it goes!!

How silly 😂 but also… I invested in 3-4 VDS over the last couple years and I can’t stand to see them unused. Hi there! My toss notes are here and on post-it’s. But I leave most things in the pen and gear. I’m not sure yet if I’ll keep these long term, this is my second one and so far I’ve kept the first one. Reading and movies and gift lists will go in the Weeks!

Have you already done a pen test in your new Hobonichi Weeks? I've read that some people are having massive problems with heavy bleed-through on the cream-coloured TRP Sanzen paper this year, especially in the 5 Year Journals. At least that's what I've read on Reddit. I don't know if the Hobonichi Weeks is equally affected. Maybe it's just a loud minority on the internet reporting the problems, maybe most planners are okay. I hope your Weeks is fine :)

Let's see, in 2025, I will be using: The Jibun Techo Biz and Days. I consider this my planner even though it is 2 books. The second half of the Erin Condren Daily Duo. This will probably be for health. I want to use it, but I don't like carrying it around. Hobonichi Cousin. I'm not using it as a planner, it's my overpriced notebook. This is my fun purchase. My 2024 Hobonichi Weeks. This is a great travel planner. I have a lot of unused spreads, so I will just redate as needed. I may get a spring start Weeks. The Pen and Gear Undated Daily Planner. This is another one that is great on the go and since it's undated, I will never have wasted pages. It sounds like a lot, but really, the Jibun Techos are the main planner and everything else is either on standby or for fun.

I’ve recorded the weather in my Weeks on and off for years. Do you prefer to record at the beginning of the week with the forecast or record after the fact with the actual highs and lows for the week?

I record it by the day. Ohio weather can be a bit all over the place, so I want to have the actual weather. I know that’s a bit extra, but that’s my brain. 😅

Have you ever looked at Sterling Ink. They have weeks size and b6 slim and many other sizes. Their paper is white tomoe river paper. I love theirs so much more than hobonich now and thought to mention it to you.
