Thanks very much for freely sharing all these KZbin videos which we in the west would probably won't otherwise come across! Your uploaded videos that I have watched also have subtitles. Cheers Marten Go. I have lots of respect for Sammo Hung 洪金宝 and Stephen Chow 周星驰 who have both consistent expressed admiration for the one and only Bruce Lee 李小龙. I l started to learn Chinese more or less because of Bruce Lee.

You're welcome. It's a pleasure to translate these videos. When I first started doing these videos, I was surprised that no one had done it sooner. There's a wealth of information on Bruce and his friends, but somehow I get the impression that Cantonese speakers don't want or care to share with non Canto speakers... sad. You're right. Sammo and Stephen Chow are deeply respectful of Bruce. I would add Jackie and Donnie to that group too, but hearing Sammo say it you know it's straight from the heart. How is your Mandarin Chinese now?

还可以啊。。但是在伦敦居住，机会说说汉语很少。而且，我这某人比较内向所以会说普通话的朋友们更少！ It's okay and when I have the chance I watch Phoenix TV (凤凰卫视) and some movies from the Mainland. Funny enough, my Cantonese used to be better than Mandarin back in the day when I used to watch Lau Tak-Wah's (刘德华) movies like drinking water. As for Mandarin, actually really improved my vocabulary by watching 《李小龙传奇》 starring Danny Chan (陈国坤). Great series I think! According to Wikipedia, " The finale episode attained a viewership rating of 14.87%, breaking CCTV's all-time high record set in 2003". Not surprised, people are so curious about how Bruce Lee passed away. How is Jerome's website or Channel doing?

Aikunle78 Amazing! Your Chinese is better than mine. I don't read it without a dictionary and rarely ever write or type it. I stopped Cantonese school after grade 7 and now rely on listening and speaking only, but translating interviews have definitely taught me great deal of new words. Are you living in China by any chance? Jerome hasn't put any work into his new videos lately. I think it's just a passing fancy for him while playing games and recording them.

Hi Marten Go, thanks for your praise. Actually I live in London, UK. Due to my early interest in Bruce Lee (李小龙), I naturally had a keen desire to learn Chinese too. So started by learning Chinese leisurely, mostly from subtitled HK and other Chinese movies. But I did also take part-time lessons in Mandarin for like 9 months which significantly expanded my character vocabulary. Do you sometimes go to HK? Do you like speak English and/or Cantonese indoors? I speak Yoruba (our family native language from Nigeria) with the parents and siblings. Like with Chinese, the occasional chance to watch movies in our native language sure helps to not forget the words. By the way, we may have another incarnation from the Lee (李）warrior clan in our midst! Heard of Angela Lee (李胜珠)? Actually don't think she is related to Bruce Lee but you will be forgiven if you thought so!
