Sammy Atomiswave - LaunchBox Tutorial

I followed the tutorial to the letter, but when I try to run it, nothing happens. The only thing that happens is that a CMD window opens and then closes after a few seconds, but nothing else.

Years ago I setup atomiswave&naomi and had to use 2 separate demul emulators and set them up that way. Also had to edit command lines to make them launch fullscreen.

I'm not sure why, but I couldn't get Retroarch to run Atomiswave. I've ended up installing the Flycast emulator. It works well. Given I plugged my hard drive into a brand new PC - MinisForum UM690 - and hoped it would work, the amount of work to get everything functioning again was minimal. Good as new now. Now, back to Alien Hominid!

This is great if you do not have launchbox setup. But most of us already have it set up. There is only 28 roms. why not just give us a list of the file names so that we can just import them into launchbox instead.

This will actually work just fine with a with an existing setup. The names can be easily found with a quick google search. Like the video said, if you separate the files, you can follow the steps in that part of the video.

As per the video. You import into a temporary platform, which doesn't affect another platforms games.

I'm using version 13.8 and trying to add a new playlist via Arcade>Add isn't possible, it's not an option. What can I do?

Sounds like you aren't in the Platform Category's section. My guess is that you are in the Platforms section. Just open up the dropdown filter menu and switch to Platform Categories.

Excellent! That was the issue, everything is working now. The only thing I can see wrong though is that I have the default Dreamcast Bezels for all the games, even though I selected themes during the setup. I understand this isn't a Launchbox issue but can you give me any pointers in regards getting it resolved? Thanks again for the reply though

Hello. Sorry for asking a question that has nothing to do with the purpose of the video. launchbox currently resides on C drive, can I move it to another drive? If possible, I would like to know how to do it.
