What can I say. This is the one and only Sammy Davis Jr., the consumate entertainer. He never disappoints. He always gives 200%.

I love the Sammy Davis Jr spin and bend on all the songs and music he does. it's like people who play a harmonica as a perfectionist. clean draws and notes. but when Sammy gets on his harmonica ; he bends the shit out of those notes and brings a sleeping note to life and wide awake. True definition of doing what you love how you love to do it and not giving in to mass population.

Sammy never lost that suppleness in his voice. He was still in his prime, up to the cancer in his esophagus because of damned cigarettes. Sammy could have lived longer but he didn't want to lose that voice. Then in the end, they couldn't save him once that cancer went into the lymph nodes. It went everywhere. I'm still sad but we know Sammy Davis Jr is with his Maker. And maybe, just maybe, Sammy, Frank, Dean, and are singing, all together again, for Peter at the pearly gates.

Quite literally when it comes to ol' Ronnie!
@quinbyz50818 жыл бұрын
delirous8 it'd called an older past and respectable time where you wait to get riled up and clap and ect cause you listen appreciate their entire performance. This isn't songs they bring ya in to clap along to ect. Unless the artist involves the crowd; this is soul, love, history, film, this is life through music. very rare anyone including Sammy get people to join in clap ect. But this is more in the future and time we come from compared to when he first started his career as a hoofer, actor, comedian and singer.
@barabasthejew34647 жыл бұрын
Ronnie's still dead, though. Maybe one day Sammy will return to the future, as the future is now. But Sammy is the hoofer we need, not the hoofer we deserve.
