Sammy Kay (March 13, 1910 - June 2, 1987), born Samuel Zarnokay Jr., American jazz band and composer, whose motto, "Swing and sway with Sammy Kaye", became one of the most famous of the big band era. Kay could play the saxophone and clarinet, but he never showed himself to be a soloist.
One of the best American dance bands of the big band era.
